What's Your Average Km To A Tank?
HiEUmungus replied to Seano350GT's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I got a fujitsubo exhaust only. I get roughly 600kms to a tank mostly highway, definitely more than 500kms a tank. I shift at roughly 3000rpm and rarely drive hard. Car has done 150,000kms -
Hey guys, As the title states, I'm after a front bumper. Can be stock or aftermarket, any colour will do. Shoot me a pm with what you've got and how much you want for it. Cheers Hieu

$650 Per Tyre? Need Your Help!
HiEUmungus replied to Seano350GT's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I got quotes from Option1 and Cartel but they just couldn't beat thewheeldeal's prices. Option1 sell alot of Achilles ATR Sport, that's how I heard about them. A guy from the 350z forum told me about thewheeldeal website so I went on to have a look and their prices are just too good. -
$650 Per Tyre? Need Your Help!
HiEUmungus replied to Seano350GT's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I'm not too sure about wear rate since this is the first time buying this brand but I googled reviews from them here: http://www.1010tires.com/Tires/Reviews/Achilles/ATR+Sport Lots of good reviews so I'm trying them out, I've only had them on for about 1000kms so far but so far so good. For someone who doesn't normally drive my car hard, apart from the occasional cruise, it's good bang for buck. They grip decent and so far I can't complain. Your best bet would be to do a little more research into them and see what you think. Thewheeldeal is awesome, they shipped my tyres out and i received them within a week and compared to other places I got quotes from, they seemed to be the cheapest. -
$650 Per Tyre? Need Your Help!
HiEUmungus replied to Seano350GT's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Hey Seano I purchased my tyres for my wheels from http://www.thewheeldeal.com.au/ I got Achilles ATR Sports 235/35/19 front, 245/35/19 rear. My rim sizes are 19x9.5 fronts and 19x10.5 rear so the tyres are a little stretched but I like it. I believe they do have tyres for 20" rims. Just do some research into what sizes you want to run and have a look on that site. If you don't want Achilles ATR Sports, they sell other brands like Kumhos etc. All up I paid $550 delivered for ALL 4 tyres (but my tyres were on sale) so have a look and see if they have anything that suits you. Hope this helps. -
Vertini Fairlady Rims
HiEUmungus replied to Seano350GT's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Yes, the stock 350z suspensions do lower the car but not very much and maintains stock ride comfort. That's what Seano is worried about isn't he? The fact that the roads are bad in his area and he wants something thats suitable for daily driving. -

Hey guys. It doesn't look THAT bad on stock suspension but obviously it will look better a little bit lowered. If you don't want to lower it too much, try to find some 350z springs and shocks as they lower the car a touch but still maintains stock driveability. Take Sheldon's V35 as an example, hes running 20" rims and 350z suspension but his car looks good. http://sgv35.com/2012/01/05/speed-bumps-now-my-enemy/#more-409 -
The V Series Spotted Thread
HiEUmungus replied to funkymonkey's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Spotted Sheldon's V35 parked on the side of the road in Parkwood. Was on my way to Kevin at Precision Guard Rolling's house to get my rear guards rolled. Looks even more nicer in the flesh! -
Yes we depressed th clutch. On Saturday when it first started playing up. I had to open my car manually because the alarm and central locking didnt respond to my key fob. When I opened the door manually, the alarm went off but I couldnt switch it off, because it still wasnt responding to the key fob. I put the key into the ignition and tried to start it. None of the lights on the dash came on and it wouldn't turn over or anything. The only things working were the headlights and the headunit. I tried jump starting OT, still nothing so we don't believe its battery related.

Hey guys. So my car is not running at the moment, it's at my mate's Ultratune. It won't start/turn over. My mate believes the car has immobilised itself but it doesn't respond to my key. Any ideas on what could be the issue? We're thinking a new key with transponder might need to be made up? Cheers Hieu

Hey guys. As the title states, I'm after a Y-pipe as I've hit into a gate stopper and stretched my Y-pipe out and now my left exhaust tip has been popped out of its bracket. Preferably in Brisbane/Gold Coast so I can pick it up right away. Cheers guys Hieu

Badges & Grills For The V35
HiEUmungus replied to manc01's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I think the grill and badge look is all on personal taste. Go with what you like the look of. For me personally, I have debadged my rear and replaced the front grill with an aftermarket Gialla style grill. That being said, alot of people just go buy a can of plasti dip and black out the stock front grill like in the following picture: http://www.google.com/imgres?q=g35+black+stock+grill&hl=en&biw=824&bih=965&gbv=2&tbm=isch&tbnid=N7CJhhiUZbLCEM:&imgrefurl=http://www.g35nyc.com/forums/showthread.php%3Ft%3D29249&docid=eNGYO8Lz5ffG7M&imgurl=http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b72/untouchablemc628/DSC07864.jpg&w=1024&h=768&ei=hQXuTpqiGeW7iAeKveysBw&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=113&vpy=307&dur=4332&hovh=194&hovw=259&tx=157&ty=110&sig=113006729388086524966&page=1&tbnh=142&tbnw=205&start=0&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:3,s:0 I like the look of the stock grill blacked out also, so this might be an option you might consider if you like the look of it. -
is this Fortitude Valley in Queensland? If so, check out Ultratune Fortitude Valley located on Doggett St. Theres an asian fella there at the office who's a friend of mine name John. He should be able to help you out.
