  4. ^^fit more mufflers? the stock exhaust will possibly fail if it has the original mufflers (burnt out baffling) on it
  5. no . . lane change assist uses radar. . you are correct ppl did say (in the eighties) that nobody would be able to fix cars with all the electronics on them and to an extent they are correct. . half the threads on this forum are about faulty/malfunctioning afms knock sensors vct not working , ecu issues, electronic speedos not displaying the correct speed etc etc
  6. i had a good look at those pics and that is automotive art at its best
  7. unlikely airlock unless you have drained the fluid and not put enough back in there. . usually when you have changed the fluid on your ps you then refill the resevoir and start the car and turn the steering from lock to lock a number of times topping the fluid as nescessary if you havnt done any work on your ps system recently then you have naff all fluid/wrong fluid or a worn out pump
  8. go for an internal vct feed and use NEW rb25head bolts
  9. well i do think so. . .. park assist where the car turns the wheel and guides it in. .lane change assist. . . automatic braking when the car senses you are getting too close to the car in front of you. . the new toyota van i was driving yesterday has a projection of the area behind the van (on the rear veiw mirror)so you dont back into things .. these are just four things i can think of so yeah. . a lot more electronics to crap itself when its old
  10. at least most of the electronics in skylines were there to run the thing with all the electronics in new cars for "drivers aids" there must be a butt of things waiting to go wrong when these cars age
  11. yes, the second plug is for the auto
  12. good thing the hg wasnt changed for no good reason eh? glad its worked out cheaply for you too

  15. ^^ thankyou for that brad but im getting a set off Kitto
  16. $480 is an over the top price. . . suggest you get another intake manifold and get it checked then fit it up using oem style gaskets job done
  17. do what we did at work when we had to hire two sea containers that needed forklift access speak to the company you got the container from and they will point you in the right direction for some ramps. . we had a forklift + a 1 ton load on the ramps with no clearence / load issues and they butt up to the container floor and you could still close/lock the container without moving the ramps
  18. the bloody bolts even break off on the rb30e/rb25de etc imo its the hot/cold cyclic temp changes that cause the metal to fatigue and eventually break. not the heat on its own
  19. it would probably be physically capable of towing it but would (possibly)be legally out of its towing limit weight wise
  20. got the vct unit off, the hex bolt was tight as all hell tho
  21. you can always get your cams reground to take solid lifters instead of hydraulic?
