    if there was any smoke it MAY be burnt up in the cat ? for the turbo to glow like that there must be fuel burning in it, if that is the case then the stock turbo wont live a long life, from what ive read on here there hasnt been a lot of glowing turbo problem skylines~one or two with warped exhaust manifolds tho! would it be feasable for you to try a front mount ic to eleminate any possible restriction?

    hows your fuel economy? is unburnt fuel / still burning fuel going through the turbo? that motor will be working hard lugging around a fat patrol

    yes its easy to cut off the rusted section and get a new bit welded on(i had it done to a 20 manifold) needs to have a bead welded on the outside edge of the replacement as per factory any good ally fabricator can do this and for reasonable $$$ dont bother buying another (possiblyrusty) manifold

    or ignition coil. . check the electrical plug that goes into the dissy as the rubber breaks down and allows moisture(corrosion) to mess things up

    most are not liking it because its not a smart thing to do. . . if i plowed into the back of your car because you slowed down/stopped and i didnt see your brake lights because of the tinting then my insurance company has just cause to refuse any claim for repairs on your car

    that glue is most likely a sealant/moisture barrier, is this car destined for the track?

    it SHOULD be fine as long as no moisture has gotten into the engine . . . when you do go to fire it up turn the engine by hand to make sure its not seized
