    you wont get all the fuel out doing it that way, you need to take the fuel pump cradle out to get all the fuel out

    ^^ the clutch on the aircon compressor sounds like its worn out, best get the whole unit reconditioned but beware it aint going to be cheap

    i vaguely remember a nissan manual stating to replace them every two years

    jeebus! dont go back to that mechanic! you will need to rub that rust back at treat it with a rust neutraliser if you dont want it too spread

    if they still squeal after being tightened then try some soap on them

    ha ha! i hear what your saying but yeah, give a ford forum a shot as your problem might be a common one, i personally dont know of anyone who is into imports and would have (for instance) a territory as a daily. . . unless they are masochists! :-)

    ^^yep, couldnt agree more, when i got my 32gtst the f*kn thing was stupidly low on stiff springs, whilst it looked the goods it skipped/bounced over every bump on the road, i returned it too standard and it was a LOT more pleasant to drive

    are you sure you have a factory radio on your car? ive had factory radios in two of my 31s and i didnt have to enter any codes in them after disconecting the battery

    fair enough, i see where you are at, remember when it comes to cars (especially skylines) "good" and "inexpensive" are mutually exclusive terms

    ^^ at least with new pistons there would be a valid warranty claim- using secondhand pistons the original engine builder could tell you to get stuffed, im all for using secondhand parts but im aware that im taking a chance

    you will have to pissfart around with camshaft timing and retension the timing belt-you are doing all this with the motor out?

    the pistons ARE part of your bottom end anyway! wether it be pistons or bearings that motor is waiting to fail
