the buzzing is because your tps is out of adjustment; you can turn your ignition to on- loosen off the screws on the tps and move it around till the buzzing stops then retighten the screws; car should then start
^^ rb30engines are cheap enough. . sometimes cheap enough to come with a vl ! personally prefer to use R31 skyline bottom ends as they have 3 ribbed belts on the balancer unlike the vl which has 1 v belt and 2 ribbed belts
doh. . i have the same problem with mine, im still sorting the EXACT cause but crimping the fuel return line after the fpr and it starts straight away ! try that!
i had the same problem years ago, it turned out to be a faulty relay staying energised even when key was out of the ignition = flat battery, id be checking this or any thing else related (as well testing alternator while your at it)
quote me all you like; the original question was regarding gmb water pumps, i gave the opinion that they will go the distance. . have used them many times over twenty five years and i ask for that brand when im at my local parts store
as for the belts im not sure about AS I HAVNT USED THEM BEFORE
understand?
^^ nah its all good , didnt take that personally. .as you know you need a thick skin living in midland due to the um. .restless natives that live here; anyways as said by another above cubic inches wilbe a big power adder. . . rb30 bottom end stroked out to 3.4 litres will give you heaps of off the mark torque and a less stressed engine (making the same power) than a RB26
