Have a look at a factory rb20det setup and copy that Keep the factory recirculation valve even if you are running stock boost.

Cheaper to buy a gtst than convert a gts You have the engine but it seems you havnt considered the brakes and the many other little things you need to make this a sucessfull conversion

Do as the others say . Plumback then Put a high flow cat convertor on it, that will not only make it legal but quieten it down a lot as the coppers here WILL eventually get you (plus fine)and you will end up starting a thread saying " how do I get defect notice off my car"

Should never jack up a car and leave it on the jack A set of axle stands are cheap and may save your life

Rolls, probably too late a reply but ive got a r32 gtst type M. .(abs) I put r33 gts front rotors/pads on the front only as the backs were the same size from 32 to 33 Even allowing for the facts my 32 front rotors were scored and low on pad material the change in braking was quite noticeable, ive not changed the MC and every thing is working good Hope this helps

Make up your mind daniel, you go from saying the aircon is all gone in your first statement to saying its blowing air and the dealer says it needs regassing (?) As stated above get someone who knows what he is f**king doing and get him to check the car over Yes you may not know anyone but you can get a paid independant report on the whole damn car

Im not sure what answer you are seeking but from what i can see you are obliged to take the car back to the same dealer/mechanic for repairs, if its not repaired properly then take it back again, im sure he will do the job correctly EVENTUALLYas it costs the dealer to have the mechanic constantly repair the car, as for the aircon then consumer affairs will be your next call if the dealer refuses to fix it, get the refusal in writing if you can along with warranty details etc and present the original documents to consumer affairs if this doesnt answer your question then someone else may have to step in

I would stay away from the dealer and "he's" mechanic, if at anytime you are unsure (or dont know anything about skylines)of a cars condition then get it checked BEFORE you buy, a bit late now for you tho
