  1. if the ones i got were fakes then they are the best fakes out there! def not secondhand either ,the numbers on them match exactly to the factory ones i took off my RB20DET and they run the motor just fine with no issues and certainly not "shattered" nissan 22433 60U01 HANSHIN MCP-300
  2. i priced a new one from nissan a while ago. . . $1700! .......fibreglass ones made in QLD look pretty good and only around $300 or so
  3. are you saying the new coils "shattered" during your tune?? what happened to them to cause that?
  4. i reckon your best option is to replace the suppot panel with a fresh one, ive done it with a 31 sedan and its not that difficult, once i had drilled thru the spot welds i was able to pull the inner skirts forward to where they used to be,the support panel cost me around $450 from nissan which was a better option for me than using a secondhand one i rang a mobile welder to weld the thing on to the car(all work done in my backyard)

  6. if the above doesnt shift the paint then pop down to an auto store and get some cutting compound. . . then again its an astra, an angle grinder will get it off!
  7. get NEW nissan coil packs off ebay for a few hundred, dont advise using tired secondhand coil packs
  8. ^^^ just pointing out how fragile rotaries are regardless of wether they are warmed up or not
  9. cant compare a rotary engine to a skyline engine, rotarys are fragile at best and intolerant of detonation, with the engine running/idling you will get a SMALL amount of heat getting blown onto the gearbox via the engine fan
  10. every for sale ad ive seen on ebay for R32 GTR side skirts state they wont fit GTS-t and as said above there would be issues with it fitting the fatter F&R GTR guards
  11. yep, sorry you are correct, the 30E is top fed hose and the 20DET rail sits right on top of the injector with a rubber seal
  12. is the car auto or manual?
  13. are you sure its the injector and not the hose going into it?
  14. nissan MATIC D for the transmission (bout 4 litres or so). . . stock type plugs if your engine is stock or near stock
  15. you could go genuine but i used after market kits which had the O rings and filters, they seal fine and my 20DET injectors havnt leaked a drop since then

  17. got my OEM coil packs off ebay for $240 . . .delivered
  18. what is the condition of your coil pack wiring? dried out and crispy?
  19. good point there, so to fully benefit to changing to a GTR FMIC you would have to change to a GTR bumper
  20. were you quoted $600 for a gold plated convertor? traders on SAU will sell you one (recommend you go that way)also plenty hi flow cats on ebay, if you have some mechanical knowledge and a set of ramps you can fit it yourself for far less than $600
  21. or if you have deep pockets they are available new (for gts-t at least) for about $60 each from nissan
  22. sounds like you need (or a qualified mechanic)to go right over the car and check everything
  23. getting back on topic. . . . would the GTR intercooler even fit behind the GTS-t reo without having to trim it?is the reo the same between the two?
  24. are they the original coils (how many ks on them?) or aftermarket?
