  1. plus narrow/uneven roads, didnt see one prang on the road, altho i didnt drive in indonesia at all i felt safer on the roads there than i do here
  2. no, the towie pissed off to quickly to get any details and as my mate was a night watchman at a car yard he couldnt leave his post to chase after the towie and get his rego
  3. Do you have an ADRAD store near you? i got a radiator off them for my 32 GTS-t but i believe that they have a listing for GTR, the radiator is of acceptable quality and the std shroud bolted back on
  4. ive always been a bit wary of oiled air filters on airflow metered cars, if they are over oiled then it can cause problems, fully agree with using oiled air filters on 4WDs and off road bikes as the oil catches the fine dust. . . .but for road use, not needed
  5. some of the grief we cop from insurance companies is because of the few scumbags out who there who have no problem with commiting fraud when it comes to car theft. . . . . . .years ago a mate of mine sprung a towie reversing up to his F100 (late at night)with the intention of hooking it up and taking it away, he soon got out of there when confronted!
  6. ive been shown the reading on the radar by the cops and as i pointed out to him "that could of been there since yesterday"
  7. its all relevant. . .if WA cops went to Bali to do policing they would have a meltdown, scooters overtaking on the left of cars in the left lane and all sorts of things that would get you a ticket quicker than you could blink if it happened here and you know what?it all works!saw no examples of road rage, no speed cameras/radars , no cops hiding behind bushes ready to pounce on a motorist doing 2ks over the speed limit
  8. i believe the stock SMIC is the correct size/location for the car(as determined by the nissan engineers who designed it) have rung 1 wrecker in NSW(few good ones have closed in Perth) who wanted a arm and a leg for just the intercooler itself (no piping) im also of the opinion that the FMIC blocks a lot of cooling air that was originally meant for the radiator( and engine) and AC condensor, if i need to upgrade there is aftermarket SMIC units out there. . . the stock SMIC on my 34 doesnt seem to hold it back! that bloody car will end up costing me my license if i dont keep a close eye on my speedo
  9. Thanks for that guys ^^^ was trying to get a factory (ive removed the aftermarket FMIC and gone back to factory SMIC as its a near stock engine)setup but havnt been able to get the piping even with a WTB ad. .
  10. i know it isnt the cheapest option but you can be sure it will fit and work as it should
  11. Hi guys, need some IC piping made up for my 32, is steel okay to use? is there any problems with the inside of the pipe rusting and and flakes of rust entering the motor?reason i ask this as im a tight ass and not that interested in using stainless steel (more expensive/altho non corrosive) just for the underbonnet bling factor, ideas on material type?
  12. looking at $9000 to $11,000 DEPENDING on MANY factors including body type (sedan/coupe) colour of car etc look in for sale section for a guide on what ppl are asking for them
  13. If you dont want to fix it there is plenty of second hand bumpers on ebay, genuine and aftermarket, you may even score one that is the same colour as yours
  14. dont dismiss nissan without giving them a call for a quote 1st, they maybe your only option unless you can get some working used ones, i got an aftermarket one for my 31 and whilst the plug fitted the pump it didnt accept the nissan mounting point on the washer bottle, ended up going to nissan and got a genuine unit for $60
  15. . . or the radiator tubes are partly blocked, drain your radiator and have a look thru the cap neck
  16. opening the fuel cap will only relieve tank pressure- not line pressure as that is governed by the fuel pump
  17. regarding TPS,if it aint broken dont fix it, as others have said- get the wheel bearing replaced/suspension repaired and whatever faults the car may have, once your wallet has recovered then suggest you look at light mods after that
  18. sounds like a few problems you have there! the car wash misfire sounds like water on the ignition system, have a look at your coils and plugs and check if water is / has gotten in there
  19. not sure where you are located but for your radiator you can get them off ebay, any good radiator place or where i got mine (ADRAD) as for your ignition barrel then i think nissan is the only place to get one as i doubt there wilbe any aftermarket for them apart from seconhand
  20. i THINK the os giken setup uses a 26 block with the spacer plate and bullet proof bottom end - with no manifolds or head. . . but as stated above it comes with a BIG $$$ pricetag
  21. coil packs on a RB30? are you running after market ecu and ignition as factory 30s run a single coil mounted in a position where they are not sitting in water
  22. you run the risk of wetting the coils and wiring- even with the coil cover on. . . just do whats been said above, clean with a rag, maybe dip it in degreaser first
