  1. Ive not heard of a fix before, I think most guys on here dont worry too much bout the aircon on their skylines
  2. It HIS mechanic not he's mechanic btw As said above, learn to do it yourself and maybe take someone with you when you buy a car as missing aircon is not hard to spot

  9. Yeah I certainly wouldn't pull an engine out just to spray paint the bay especially if the engine doesnt NEED work
  10. Did the car overheat? If so the coolant couldve come out the overflow bottle
  11. ASR make a decent (high capacity) sump for 2WD R32 for a good price hit them up for a price for a 4WD sump

Had trouble sending from my phone, hence the double post, but BEARING SPINNER was telling SHOOTA that "its called a windage tray" . . .but thats not what SHOOTA was talking about a windage tray is in place to stop the crank from whipping up the oil in the sump(as it spins) and possibly away from the oil pickup SHOOTA was asking about baffles that deflect the draining oil from dropping onto the crank
  13. dont do it unless you want to seriously devalue the stagea, it may not even be registerable afterwards as you are putting an older motor into a newer car

  16. ^^^ this, use the instruments original temp sensor and use the ecus original temp sensor . . .this may fix the high temp reading you are getting on the dash (incorrect signals could be coming from both)

  18. ^^ I wouldnt worry about any other issues until you rebuild/replace engine
  19. If it aint broke- dont fix it Spend your money on changing fluids, cleaning/swap out any leaking gaskets /upgrade your exhaust to 76 mm / tune /25 turbo/service and your done
  20. It wont get hotter as it still has cooling fuel running through it
