  1. if you give your location it would probably help, suggest you place an ad in the wanted section
  2. get some baby powder (or similar) and sprinkle it up and around the in side of the boot, when it next rains you will soon be able to determine where the water is coming in, had the same problem with my 300C, it had been rear ended at some stage in its life and the boot hinges were slightly buckled to the point where the boot lid wasnt sitting on its seal allowing water to enter
  3. are you having overheating problems? if not then stick with a OEM, if you must go to an alloy then there is plenty of aus dstributors on ebay
  4. Yes ^^^ do this after you have fitted the new parts . . be aware that flushing the cooling system can dislodge particles off the inside of the block etc and block up the tubes in the radiator making the overheating worse
  5. Sounds like the legality of FRP will be state specific
  6. wikipedia says FRP stands for fibreglass reinforced plastic . . . BUT in this context means something else
  7. Ive found the opposite so far, ive gone thru 200 pages of cars for sale on SAU (some with mods) and a lot of auction sheets and after comparison i reckon i will come out on top by importing a skyline
  8. maybe from welsh plug? a good radiator place will be able to pressure test it for you
  9. Thanks Mark, thats the sort of info im after these sedans are just as well equiped as the coupes . .just with two extra doors
  10. which is the good shop you speak of?
  11. Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic
  12. Thanks for that Eps. . . and thanks to your "dad" for his input too
  13. changing to a hub dyno will solve your tyre spinning problem
  14. changing to a hub dyno will solve your tyre spinning problem
  15. Definatly worth the wait , ive been in contact with Kristian from IRON CHEF , so far so good, he has sent me some more auction sheets and there are PLENTY of good condition sedan worth waiting for, nearly all autos ( but i dont mind that as i believe the fluid filled auto trans would help dampen engine harmonics) and only a few manuals, most grade 3.5 and up
  16. ^^^ this. . . i have a auction sheet (with pics) in front of me and i doubt that i will be buying a sedan in aus, not when there are cheap /low K examples waiting to be snapped up in japan
  17. Ha! you got that one right Jonno, the owner needs to get himself a BIIIIIG angry dawg if he wants to keep his car in his possession in Northam
  18. Do you have bonnet vents to help let out the heat? or a cheap/quick way would try to add some washers tween the hinges and bonnet to let some hot air out
  19. I def have a soft spot for luxury jap (turbo)cars- no matter what the brand, looking at the interior pics above , it might be a bit of a generalisation but the japs seem the look after thier cars better than what you would find locally and they are cheap!look forward to seeing your crown on the roads in Perth Rowan
  20. ^^ this . . . well said!,sums it up nicely, they are a luxury car with advanced tech when compared to local offerings and shame on nissan aust for not bringing in these when they were brand new
  21. Dont take this lying down, if the mechanic who did this bodgie work wont fix it or at least hand it over to someone who does know what he is doing then tellem fair trading will get a phone call
  22. nothing wrong with an auto , maybe not "sporty" but they are a shit load cheaper(less desirable) than a manual me thinks,i like the auto shift paddles on the steering wheel even if its for the "wank" factor, that interior looks brand new!thanks for the pics as it helps make for an informed decision when it comes to pricing a sedan for myself, saw a nice black one with exhaust on son of rajab street near whiteman park at 6:10pm tonight, very cool, can hardly wait too get behind the wheel of one and show them yota drivers up
