even more fun if you still have the HICAS taking up space in the engine bay, there was no way i was going to get it out past the engine from underneath, i was able to get it out behind the intake manifold near the brake booster
what car is the 20 in? if its a 32 then its a prick of a job, i got mine out past the intake manifold with every hose clamp on the way trying to scratch the crap outta me
you can use an over the counter radiator flush and run that thru your cooling system and then use the garden hose to clean it out, when i do that i then run rain water thru the cooling system to get rid of the corrosive hard water thats now in your cooling system, remember to turn on your heater in the car to get flush the core
remember turbo powered cars economy is largely affected by the right foot. . .ive found i get better economy outta my RB20DET (with some redline thrashing) than i ever got with my VG30E
oh. . . youve obviously looked on the TPS itself for a number?if you have and it isnt there then i will ring nissan monday morning and chase down that number for you
too many variables will affect how good a high k (or low k) 26 will be, like any used vehicle you may get lucky or you may have to open your wallet as soon as you get the car into your driveway
have a look at JUST JAP, they seem to have a lot of OEM parts. . . doesnt mean that you will gettem cheaper than NISSAN tho, ive compared prices and they are close to nissan anyways
im suprised the mechanic flushed the cooling system without putting a filter in the top hose , get a good secondhand head, get it checked and put that on, also if the engine overheated badly then you may want to get the compression tested
