  1. Yep, agree with the above Running lean and the colour of the exhaust valves back that up
  2. Easily done
  3. Find the leak/ fix the leak - go from there?
  4. Cant really hear that much on the video
  5. The oil maybe to heavy (or thick)to leak out past the valve seat When I did this test I used degreaser as its a lot lighter and I wanted to clean the ports anyway
  6. Glycol wont hurt the cylinders at all Water can tho
  7. If you want to risk damaging your motor then yeah you can drive it
  8. Yes it is really needed otherwise it wouldnt be there in the first place, the goop holding it on is soft so if you carefully peel it back when accessing that area then it should be okay to put back on
  9. Yeah there wont be any soft spots, its cast iron and its tough thats why nissan used it in the first place
  10. No it wont fit easily but why are you trying anyway?
  11. In the projects section ^^
  12. Agreed, its like he is missing all the advice thrown his way
  13. ^^ this! get someone (any furkn one!) who can sort this for you You are trying to use a combo of stock and aftermarket parts(some good and some not) and trying to make it work for you The way you are approaching this is going to end in tears and an empty wallet
  14. Any metric bolt store should be able to help you There is a good one in the industrial area close to the intersections of collier road/guildford road bassendean
  15. Of course he can / will get away with the spacers but my point is they can be seen from the outside of the car -cops look for these things- unlike his top mount / ext gate which is outta sight and out of mind and wont be heard unless he drives like a tool
  16. Whats with the personal attack there artz? Do you have little weiner syndrome or maybe small man syndrome? I merely pointed out the legalities of spacers NOT the safety side of things and unlike most mods the spacers can be seen from outside of the car A very small amount of metal machined off the back of the wheels will fix clearence issues Remember to add lots more question marks as it really helps get your point across
  17. Also keep in mind that spacers for your wheels are illegal and defectable Not sure why others on here are even suggesting you use them when other options are out there
  18. Ah understand. .you dont have to return it to stock to get it running right. No offense but sounds like you are randomly buying parts and hoping for the best outcome, as others have said, ask a fellow sau member to take a look at what bits you have /actually NEED before you waste anymore money
  19. Front mount intercooler isn't stock but I guessed you knew that I may have missed it previously but why do you want it stock anyway?
  20. Depends which injectors you get, different brands= different heights
  21. GTRNUR- Are the r32 k frame spacers available off the shelf? Or are there off the shelf lowered engine mounts? Wouldnt changing the angle of the engine affect drivetrain alignment?
  22. Some of those bits arent stock
  23. Can you post up a picture or 2 ? There must be access of some sort as the motor wouldve been put in there after the inner and outer skins wouldve been spot welded together on the assembly line
  24. 4N71B trans went bang ? Try to get a nissan Y31/32/33 trans if you can, the Re series of autos out of these cars are near on bullet proof (when kitted out)and mv trans in s.a have done a few Bell housing from rb bolts onto vg easily Good that you are keeping an older nissan alive There doesnt seem to be much appreciation for these classics
