Hi all, I'm selling my 1999 Series 2 Nissan Stagea RS4s Dayz Edition Sonic Silver in colour 112,500km's 5 Speed Manual Price: $13,000 ono External Mods No mods done except for 17x8" Work VS Rims which came with the car Engine Mods Pod Filter (standard air box will be given to the buyer) Electronics Mongoose M60 Alarm with central locking Pioneer DVH-P4150UB DVD head unit hooked up to the stock Xanavi screen, including iPod connectivity Alpine SPS-600 rear speakers Clarion 4-channel amp Interior Standard interior including Xanavi and touch-screen climate control Cargo Blind Cargo Barrier Tinted front driver and passenger windows to match the other windows Paintwork The exterior is in good nick. There is 1 little spot rust mark on the roof and a tiny bit of rust under the paint under the passenger mirror Service History I purchased the car in May 2010 and I am the first registered owner. The car had 72,324km on it when it arrived in Australia. Serviced every 5000km by Waterhouse Auto Care in Penrith Battery replaced in late 2010 Starter motor replaced at 90,000km 100,000km service done including new timing belt, all fluids and other belts replaced Wheel alignment and balance done at 106,182km CV boots and front link pins replaced at 108,198km The Bad The gearbox has just started making a slight vibration when changing into 2nd and 3rd. I had his checked out by my mechanic and he believes that a bearing has gone in the gearbox. In order to pull the gearbox out and rebuild it the cost will be approximately $1800 through my mechanic. You may be able to get this cheaper through your mechanic or if you do it yourself. I will transfer the balance of the warranty to the new buyer (see notes below) Car Warranty I chose a 3 year warranty on the car when I bought it and the warranty expires on 8/5/13. This warranty is transferrable and is through National Warranty Company. I have not had to make any claims. Hi all, I've just put in a pioneer DVD single DIN and have hooked it up to my S2 Xanavi screen. I need the override device so the screen is on all the time. Let me know if you have one. Thanks, Matt

Hi all, I'm really sorry if this has been posted. I did a search but couldn't find anything stagea-specific. I am gathering parts for my first full service on my '99 Stagea RS4S and am unsure which oil I should get for the manual gearbox. I did some reading and found 3 different castrol oils to use: CASTROL SYNTRAX 75W-90 CASTROL SYNTRANS 75W-85 CASTROL VMX 80 I'm guessing the VMX80 is the run of the mill oil and maybe the syntrans is the way to go. Can anyone confirm that? And how much do I need? About 4 litres? Thanks, and sorry again if this has been posted already, Matt

Hey guys, Really sorry if this has been posted before....but I don't even know what they are called. With the standard air snorkel on the stageas/RB25 engines I went to take it off today and those plastic clip things popped out. I didn't realise that there was a special way to take them off. So when I went to clip them back in they don't clip in properly First of all what are they called and where can I buy some more from? Thanks, Matt

HI all, I did a search but couldn't find anything related to my question. Currently I'm using my ipod connected to the bottom 3.5" jack - with VTR2 on I think it is. When I'm in this mode and I've got the air con/fan on I find the only way to adjust the settings for the air con are to either press the off button or adjust the temperature knob to get the control screen to come up. I'm sure there is another button I can press to bring up the climate control screen, rather than doing what I'm doing at the moment cheers

Hi again, I managed to install my son's baby seat (forward facing) into the back seat behind the passenger. One thing I have noticed is that the straps when done up tight have the potential to leave an indent in the top of the head rests. Just wondering what everyone else is doing to combat the indents....as I am worried about not being able to fix them when the baby seats come out! Any ideas appreciated!! Matt

I purchased the genuine pulsar floor mats, and installed an MP3 CD player and new speakers in the front as the original stereo was lacking MP3 functionality.
