fuel pump not working? its an external pump, pretty much under the right rear passenger door, stick your head under there and check for a mount holding something the size of a small deodorant can. if its not "buzzing" with the keys in the "on" pos, try kicking the motor over and tapping on the fuel pump at the same time....worked for me. and i dont mean just knock on the pump with your knuckles, tap it wif a friggin hammer or something.....you'll look like a hick but if it is the fuel pump, she'll fire over. :Pimp2: :Pimp2:

haha thats how my pump said its goodbyes - refusing to pump every now and then i used to keep a hammer in the car to hit the pump as i was hanging out of the car turning the key to start, i got it down to a fine art but anyway, i ended up buying a new r30 fuel pump then about 4 months later boxing it back up and throwing in a 910 for the rb20 i've still got the stocko pump if your keen, as i said its still new, maybe 2 thou kays of use, PM if ya keen

when i did the rb20 conversion i put a bosch 910 in the stock position, just had to bodgy the mount a bit but its no dramas. just get an external pump for the cheapest you can find and jam it in there

nothing to do with the front bar, but i know i'll get a response this way, i found a kaaz lsd for $1500 front some business in vic, wanted to know whether the long nose r200 has 10mm or 12mm bolts on the crownwheel....?

oh yeah dennis did you find out what the go was with the r31 side skirts fitting onto the r30?

the GT badges and the skyline symbol - gimme when i found an ironmask front cut i was lucky enough to get the 'dohc turbo rs' badge on the bonnet and rs badges on the guards

since its an rb coming out and another rb goin in it will be a clean swap just have to look at 'other' costs like exh mods, tailshaft, cooler piping, power steering, possible brake upgrade, computer, wiring, engineering(unless your sneaky) the list goes on but dont let me deter ya... the payoff is worth it

yeah was just looking at this thread, wondering why an r31 was being called a '30 but anyway... sounds like a rebuild on the cards....or a conversion *hint*
