  7. cram an rb20 in for less than 2k fix up driveline for another 1k say 1....1.5k on cooler injectors what have u should be a good little package to keep up with r32's/33's i'm looking for an r32 gtst front cut right now so after i get it re registered it'll go straight in...then worry bout eng certificate later
  8. check your injectors mine used to kick first go every time now takes a bit longer and wreaks of petty i looked at the injectors and 2 are leaking.....so yeah. just a thought

  10. oh yeah mine is on 271000 still goin on my second fuel pump/diff will either cram an rb20 in there or buy a dr30
  11. if u want a brake upgrade a cheap option is to find 4 pot calipers off an old (79-83) toyota four runner apparently they bolt straight up to r30s, 260z's etc when i can source a set this is what i'll be doing, then maybe some konis and appropriate coils.
  12. hey rsx just looking at your site, love the ironmask how good does the rb20 go, looks like u runnin no cooler as for those jap rims....i got no idea would have to contact someone on that r30.co.jp site or sumthin and see where they get their rims from

  15. theres a few r30s out there with some swaps best is prolly http://nissanking.cjb.net thats what i'll be doin to mine, just need to find the appropriate parts for my motor. from what i've read for the r30 rb25 needs to have the sump modified rb20 goes in with minimal mods to gearbox mounts rb30 sits too high requiring either bonnet raised or sump cut n shut all swaps are over about 6k cause u gotta change heaps of stuff like diff brakes zorst prolly cooler and so forth

  20. speaking of an rb30 swap do these drop straight into the old r30 banger? or does the intake plenum hit the bonnet?? only asking cause i got a vl motor sitting at home ready for a turbo conversion into the r30
  21. r30 hatch best to get the whole rear subframe minus the diff and swap it over....from the hatch that is.
  22. half cuts from an r32 gtst are like 2k r33 are upwards of 3.5k so i will prolly get rb20 and throw in a gtr cooler/pump and usual mods so nuthin breaks. are rb20's really that gutless off boost as everyone sez. the fact that r30's are like 1200kg would make it less noticeable right?
  23. so an rb20 fits without much of a hassle then surely an rb25 couldnt be much more of a hassle to dump in also, is the 25 really worth the extra money over an rb20 half cut as a daily driver? thanks
  24. to revive this topic i just wanted to know whether anyone can confirm that an rb20 will slip straight into an r30, coz i got got about 2-3k to blow on some turb goodness have heard that to fit an rb25 will need to change the sump location to fit in but otherwise thats it. any clues??
