  1. you want 2010 onwards and a good 5-7k for the obligatory go fast bits i forget what cars i had prior to the r35.....and that's not because im losing my memory after turning 30 last month
  2. you'll need pumps too, but im sure you've already upgraded those is racepace looking after your car in Vic? i may be confusing with another member, but is yours the jdm black gtr with spec v turbos?
  3. Martin would best advise whether my injectors are currently max'd (or close to it) on stock turbos - i doubt it though, keep in mind HKS went all the way to 800+hp with their 860cc injectors I'm still on the fence with turbos - problem i'm having atm is traction, and i can't use all the power i have on my 21" street tyres. 2nd gear is pretty much useless in this cold weather, and 3rd through midrange will cause the car to snap out well past triple digits. I'm considering swapping out my yoko advans for ps2's but i really dont think that will help much I'm convinced on the benefits of SD tuning vs MAF, so will be having Martin tune for SD at the least
  4. Oem steering wheel frame off my car Perfect for anyone who wants to send it to robson for eg to have carbon mod'd with zero downtime, or if your own wheel has started to go shiney/polished with wear 500 shipped ono
  5. Ahh thought it was too good to be true Any genuine gtr's in this country, or any carsales type sites in Japan I can regularly check for one
  6. I thought they were more expensive than this Just needs the front diffuser http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280854798483#ht_1965wt_1396
  7. runout model price vs new car rrp
  8. this is a great video showing difference bw pump fuel vs e85 benchmarked against a zr1
  9. Martin I assume you opened the box, what parts have Nissan changed to quieten/smoothen the drivetrain noises? Now that I'm not driving the GTR as much, the noises are alot more noticeable
  10. I'd imagine sweet fa Nothing wrong with the stock rims, they are forged rays. It's the run flat tyres that are the problem
  11. US Tuners/vendors are victims of the typical American consumer - I'm sure if they wanted to they could focus on circuit setups vs drag, but the typical American thinks bigger is better and will happily pay for it, so they're stuck competing with each other for dyno number thread glory and drag times
  12. Would this be the first street spec 9s aus R35?
  13. looks like toyo 888's + volk g2's i went out to do a 60-130mph pull and was loosing traction in 3rd and 4th with my 21" yoki advans - im going to grab a set of michelin super sports asap grip with my yoki's has just fallen off so quickly, 2nd gear is pretty much useless in this dry cold weather
  14. SOLD
  15. hahaha true, but torque is limited by the stock rods
  16. Martin that's not on e85 is it? doing a quick comparo with my last dyno (full bolt on e85 stock turbo) I seem to be making more power at any rpm below 5500rpm Eg @ 4000rpm I'm making ~425hp vs your dyno of ~385hp unless I'm missing something? What happens to the power curve bw 6000 and 7000 cut out, I see boost is dropping off
  17. good read - ive been following the ring 24hr car during its race debut vid summary though i can't really see them making any signifcant leaps beyond what we currently have on this platform, and if anything it almost seems a waste of time and money imo, and getting a bit old to read a few minor tweaks this year have resulted in yet again, "the gtr mizuno always wanted to build". it reaks of marketing gimmick to push continual sales - perhaps they have learnt more from porsche than simply product development eg; the track pack is a woeful, for 10K GBP (a 15% increase on RRP) id have expected a properly stripped out interior/cf replacement parts to reduce weight, a half cage at least, possibly even carbon ceramics, and some more noticeable aero tweaks which they already have in the full nordring catalogue r&d would be better spent developing the R36 platform now
  18. rapid progress Martin i see you retained the oem actuators, isnt this going to now limit how much boost you can get out of the modified turbos at high rpm? will you need to scale back boost towards redline just as with a full bolt-on stock turbo car?
  19. got it from gtnet, http://www.gtnet.co.jp/parts/durement/index.asp not too hard, always a good idea to replace the airbag bolts as you brake the oem loctite seal when unbolting
  20. I agree, but at what cost, definitely not the $900 odd for the spare part cost I paid a little over 1k for this replacement steering wheel - much better value for money vs tactility than some ac knobs The RSW carbon is very good, installed the tweeter trim too to flow with my dry cf mirrors http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/scascone/R35_GTR/IMG_4871.jpg
  21. no way of changing the japanese characters on the mfd or dash don't care how cheap it is, that would give me the shits
  22. Rsw.ne.jp http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/scascone/R35_GTR/IMG_7975.jpg Martin interested to see final hp figures - are you adding the TT or TTR turbo mod?
  23. ....and rear windscreen
  24. bump price drop to $850
