  1. all they've done is prolong our inevitable recession imo the remnants of the big bang left in our soil is the sole reason we aren't having to sell tassie off to the germans right about now
  2. mate do you mind putting together a list of all the components that went into your build, what brand etc more so the internals you chose
  3. bump Has the owner had a chance to get some 1/4 mile results yet?

    R35 Cargo

to use or to hard park? there is a plastic gutter strip on the roof but no actual metal latches underneath it - it's simply a cosmetic trim piece to hide the roof welds this was custom made apparently and due to above a highly doubt easily reversible http://www.gtspirit.com/2010/12/12/jon-olssons-nissan-r35-gt-r-olsson-winter-edition/
  5. hi guys looking for a pair of oem bovs in perfect working condition to replace mine which i've lost in the blackhole that is my storage locker please advise km's travelled if you have a set
  6. good move as we don't have this feature on ADM cars anyway
  7. cool story but reality is alot more complicated low production cars like the GTR are ordered in pre-sold allocations. nissan aus would need to forecast and commit to how many cars they think they can sell/want built in RHD to ADR's long before a spanner is even turned, so they wouldn't be basing that on the current exchange rates you're seeing on xe.com/ucc/ at the time of walking into the dealer, but more so a worse case average with a healthy margin of error cost'd into the consumer's bottom line no doubt nissan aus are making money on the pre-tax price - if they weren't they wouldn't be in business
  8. thought we've done this dance already nissan australia has nothing to do with it stamp duty + lct + gst = aus retail
  9. a member on nagtroc did a pressure test ages ago and iirc they were good to around 23psi either way you'll be fine on stock turbos
  10. the boost does drop off at high rpm on stock turbos, however even if you could hold more boost the stock turbos are out of their efficiency range and just blowing hot air I still think there's power to be made, single digits maybe at most but you'd need to balance that against more stress on the turbo Post up the dyno graph and we can see what's happening at high rpm
  11. daily driving both my tuned turbo cars on e85 and love it - can't go back to 98ron 400+awkw is right where the r35 needs to be also interested to hear from martin how the actuators went on stock turbo. consensus seems to be theres no point pushing the stock turbos any harder than stock actuators can handle (8psi springs iirc), but with hks now releasing their gt570/600 kit actuators it seems worth pursueing - especially if you're down there changing out the turbo inlets http://r35tt.com/store/HKS-Actuator-Upgrade-Kit-09-R35-GT-R/ LC5 is definitely more aggressive, and it does improve shifts in auto mode by holding gears longer. I prefer to run launch with VDC in R mode rather than off as it controls wheelspin alot better, especially on a low grip surface
  12. was tongue in cheek mate.......
  13. switzer pro max clutch setup
  14. will most likely just be the track pack available in UK and US.......rebadged Nismo to take advantage of the new branding/image nissan are pushing http://www.gtspirit.com/2012/04/26/nissan-gt-r-track-pack-available-at-22-high-performance-centers/
  15. aggressive'ness of clutch release/slip goes up from LC2 onwards. also improves regular shifts - LC4 is the sweet spot the change in launch rpm is in your tune and can't be adjusted yourself with the cobb those with 09 model cars can choose to upload the program to launch in R traction mode like the 2010 onwards
  16. if you live in melb, e85 is a no brainer

  18. yeh you had to cut out the centre piece on the oem diffuser to install those i have a non-damaged oem rear lower valance if you want to swap back to oem....mine has been painted oem solid black though, its not the oem grey colour. i prefer to have the storage space so you can have it very cheap front lip looks like hks kansai
  19. I've got it set to km/h, so as above 100-200km/h which is close enough to 60-130mp/h was 7.1
  20. lol a bit over zealous with 400awkw with 4k..... you'll be struggling to crack 400 with oem fueling and an honest dyno this was a long time ago before the cobb was so widely used iirc - so tuned using fcon and splicing wires into the oem ecu tuning was the issue, not the parts
