Hey guys I keep scraping my front lip and was wondering if anyone has come up with any ideas to lay a piece of rubber or plastic on the leading egde Im not sure why i keep hitting it, my M3 is below legal height and its fine, im thinking its because the GTR has quite a long front overhang ? I recently had the lower skirts colour coded, and clear bra'd the sides, but clear bra wont win the battle against rough bitumen I might see what Bunnings has, maybe a rubber door seal with some double sided tape will work http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/scas...edownload-3.jpg

id buy an R32 GTR, strip it down and use it to have some fun on the track

my '10 has memory card slot in the armrest but just like adding an ipod, searching through gigs worth of songs is a drainer id rather stick with my burnt mp3 cds

i gotta start doing this too got too many mp3 cds in my glovebox given it will only rip actual cds, can i rip an audio cd using my mp3s and nero - or does it know if they are genuine audio files?

ive been thinking about wheels too im a sucker for JDM wheels - i just cant get my head around the high prices for US wheels atm im leaning towards a set of Work Varianza T1S - there's really not much wheels out there that suit the gtr - oem wheels work best with oem ride height. Those BBS style HREs look a bit weird on the GTR, too much lip maybe, or perhaps the stretched tyre look doesnt work with the GTRs slab guards - you need a wheel with a big face, or just go 21 or 22 have Work VS-XX on my M3 atm with a bit of stretch in the rear to tuck under the guards (Bilstein PSS9s) and had Volk SF-Challenges with TopSecret Gold centres on my old 350, so will be sticking with tradition on the GTR

have been reading this thread with a huge grin on my face so glad to be back in a jdm car with such competent local aftermarket support i just ordered a milltek y-pipe and sorta regretting it now after seeing you have a ti version for similar money. If the milltek doesnt sound good, ill swap it out no question any chance of offering your ti tips to those of us who want to retain the oem muffler (for the time being at least)

im in melbourne chris so from 2010 nissan went to digital, does that mean pre 2010 cars dont have the nav, ipod connection in ashtray, aux button etc? cant something be done with the aux botton - maybe connecting a camera in an always on mode that is switchable via the aux botton? or it seems when i press the aux button it looks for a bluetooth audio/video device - there are no cameras on the market that can operate via bluetooth? despite the dealer telling me no, it seems dvd's do play on the screen, but locked via the handbrake. Do you have anything to bypass the handbrake lock out? if you come up with a retail kit, you'll have to let me know

i just found this thread http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?sh...=27353&st=0 seems all i need is the PVCINISI switching unit and to tap into the reverse wire of the M81 harness behind the CD unit gotta run this past my audio shop to gather their thoughts - considering the install they did on my Z, id imagine they can work this out makes me wonder then why adrey's kit goes through the hassle of removing the entire screen and tapping mutliple wires behind it

yeh the 2 is at the warehouse, solely for weekend street use and waxing GTR is my daily now and is unreal, slowly starting to use a heavier foot as the kms tick by, and its brilliant. Does everything i thought it would do and more

Chris thanks for the heads up In emails, Adrey mentioned he has sold kits to 2010 and ADM owners Starting to wonder now He asked if i have the Aux button on my radio, which i do, so not sure if that means anything. My car has the iphone/ipod plug in the centre console bin, so i figure that has something to do with the aux button. when i push the aux button, it says no bluetooth audio/media connected Are you putting together a retail kit for the 2010? i might just put some good quality universal parking sensors on it, a 2 sensor kit and hide them behind the exhaust grille

Roger i noticed you asked the same question as me a while back So what was your solution? Did you import the JDM parts and it didnt work? If that's the case, looks like my only plug and play option would be Adrey's kit - remove the dash and tap into behind the screen

thanks mate re pics, just looks like a stock black gtr atm car is getting some paint work done this week, then ill detail it and post pics - gotta de-hamburger the rear bootlid too i installed the mcr harness to light up all 4 rear tails, and got the milltek y-pipe on the way i also have to philips silver vision the indicator and parker globes, i remember i had to jack up my 350Z to remove guard liner/access back of the headlights - is it same deal with the gtr? this is the only pic i have atm... polished the exhaust tips which were blacked out with carbon. i noticed this too on all the youtube vids ive been watching - there is this initial pause, the revs seem to rise up to 2000, pause there momentarily, then the car starts accelerating, very strange and only can assume its VDC cutting the power ? my car only has 380km on the clock atm, but i will be giving it a shot once i get more kms on it even after mod'd

Hi guys Just picked up my new '10 Premium and having gotten used to (reliant) on parking sensors on my M3, im having panic attacks parking this car in my home/work car park The wing provides a good indication of where the rear of the car is, but i need a cam or sensors Atm im leaning towards a cam, and am tossing up whether to go for that camera kit US forum member Adrey (Specialized Performance) sells, or the JDM OEM kit from JAPANPARTS Price is about the same for either. My question is, is it true our cars are JDM spec and thus pre-wired for the OEM camera kit? Is anyone here running one? Adrey's kit requires removal of half the dash, not to mention the routing the wiring back and outside the car vs the oem kit which appears to be an install localised entirely in the boot - plus it comes with all the external brackets etc. OEM is going to be a much easier install Looking forward to hear what route everyone is going with this Cheers Sam
