  1. the united rollout in melb is pretty extensive - 24 stations last time i checked online unfortunately other states aren't as lucky.......as yet
  2. Have filled up at 4 different stations around me now over last month and all been just over a dollar I think that one near you is price gouging on all the kids with mod'd cars up your way
  3. Not quite I get about 20-25% less distance on the daily commute but saving about 35-40% at the bowser + united throws in more power/torque and zero carbon emissions = still winning The benefits of e85 are there, this ain't no wheeler dealers scenario
  4. The gotboost bracket allows seat adjustment too
  5. just filled upy Evo with united e85 at $1.03/L = win
  6. +1 united e85 works car runs so much smoother and cleaner than it did on caltex bioflex
  7. Caltex is bio-fuel, not really e85 as it varies throughout season and on average in the low e70s United are only stations offering true pump e85 I've been daily driving on e85 for over a year without any issues, but there are reports of aussies having problems with blocked injectors
  8. For those of us who daily drive on e85, it'd be a good idea to run a tank of 98 every couple months http://forums.evolutionm.net/10189507-post130.html
  9. better start saving for that 2015 model
  10. Mmm white on white for my LFA please... Any news if they have changed the turbos? Bigger injectors is fine, but the limiting factor will soon be the turbos. I still think the spec v turbos are in the future, after all they have already developed them
  11. I have the gotboost performance extinguisher mount There are others available in same location but this is most gf friendly given how far back it mounts
  12. rehab apart from the steering wheel, that's how the interior in the adm 2009 and 2010 premium looked for 2011/12 Nissan aus started importing the base model only to combat the rising yen while still selling the car for same price, with all black interior and grey roof lining Wards I've seen pics of the full red, never been a fan of red interior, it feels a bit too 80s supercar. Would look so much better in a light grey. Mizuno says the red is to attract more female and elderly drivers lol I'm hanging out for a proper facelift, new dash, new bumpers etc, think 996 to 997 which was still same car underneath. Rumour has that happening in 2014
  13. still waiting for a facelift interior and exterior
  14. hahaha trolls be trolling
  15. +1 on launch, these dual clutch box's are different to the old single clutch automated box's which cry out in pain when launched
  16. if it started after changing fluid, try going back to oem fluid
  17. i get absolutely zero soot daily driving on e85, that's the best solution to reducing carbon emissions..... or Martin should have the new injector end pulse tables for cobb which may help on 98 Ron im not sure what part you're referring too I am running the top racing carbon lower diffuser which replaces the oem part These are the hks kansai diffuser fins I bought a while ago. I haven't installed them yet, looks like you have to drill into the oem carbon diffuser. I had to paint the leading edge on both pieces matte black as they were quite rough looking with excess resin but i can't see how either part could possibly reduce soot
  18. wrong event..... but, traction issues
  19. the difference bw 1st and 4th at the last 1km event was a pair of mod'd turbos you may call it miniscule, others call it....
  20. power gains vs costs is a law of diminishing returns, no one is forcing you to play the game
  21. re value, it's to be expected price of parts will start creeping lower given the tuning scene is now 4+ years old - you won't see similar savings from jdm parts though
  22. it's well known cars in US (even Japan) are always a good .3 -.5 sec quicker down the strip compared to what you can achieve on aussie soil - like for like i think the main reason is the way they measure roll out, which on a hard launched awd car is a noticeable time advantage Martin's 10.3 for eg would be close to a 10 flat on a US drag strip a more accurate comparison when looking at acceleration times from different countries is the 60-130mph

    My New R35

That's awesome, supercar smack down from the r35s again Well done Kev
  24. Agreed that was the reason for Nissan painting them But if the top panels are darker, it doesn't work and they stand out rather than blending in with the tarmac
