I wouldn't suggest going to just any workshop unless you're: 1, in an extremely urgent situation. 2, not fussed at all and want just a cert to pass. I had a bad experience in having my previous MR2 being passed by the last owner, only to have found that the shocks were stuffed and the springs were chopped. So much for passing it and it WAS just any workshop. But I do recommend Torino Motors in Clayton. Owner is a very anal guy, good if you want an absolutely safe car, but a dick if you just want a roady.
