hmm possible AFM problem by the sound of it Tangles. If it runs then stalls every time you stop? This happens alot when people put atmo BOVs on cars with afms! If it was the cas, it would not run!

XHP-156 R33 GTST Silver, Sth Rd this morning, said skyline driver pulls some fn stupid overtake & lane change, blindly across 3 or 4 lanes of traffic & straight into the side of my 7, slammed brakes mega ABS action, just touched the curb (slight mark on tyre only) & he missed the front of my car by barely mm's; I honestly thought I was going to PIT manoeuvre him. I naturally after recovering & taking in my Mad Skillz & luck, beeped & flashed headlights, then pull along side & gave the dude wtf, you were this close to a really bad day & use your fricken eyes type signal, & the SOB had the audacity to give me the finger! So, if this is you or you know of this guy, please politely inform him that that is seriously not cool & to pull his fn head in! Actually, im now going to sell my near perfect condition HKS Hipermax2 R33 GTST coilovers, comes with a spare set of 9kg springs, so you can run 7/5 or 9/7 which ever floats your boat! $1200ono

Hmm ok bout an inch maybe. Just to be sure, you have the lower leg adjuster wound in as far as possible & the coil platform wound down till the spring is almost loose? Yeah if thats as low as it can go & you want to go lower, then different brand might be the go, if you cant modify it to go lower? like modify the bottom adjustment length somehow? Here is a pic of how my rear sits at the moment with the HKS coilovers. Would show you the front but, its not setup at the mo & the motor is out whilst doing the gearbox conversion so front is up a bit! But the rear should give you an idea & i could probs go more than an inch lower in adjustment again, if i wanted, but that is low enough! HKS dont make a coilover for the stagea as such, but im using r33 gtst (auto eye on rear shock), but am changing to R34 GTR (fork type) with the manual conversion & rear subframe! The rear top hats are the only real issue, as they are alot wider than the stagea ones & require modifing the strut towers to fit them or using s14 top hats! But Tein make bolt in coilovers with lots of adjustment!

The NGK/NTK part number is # OZA395-E2.

Its on the dump pipe! (cant miss it, its easy to get to on these cars) Just unplug it, get a good spanner onto it or a o2 socket if you have one & carefully undo it. Then reverse for install of new o2 sensor!

Its easy as, 5min job!

The Autech 260RS is the better car, though very similar to the RS4S in most areas. The 260RS is an R33 GTR mechanically! The RS4S uses the R34 GTT engine & has standard s2 Stagea brakes (smaller than the 260RS Brembos), different body kit, along with a few other minor changes! But the RS4S is roughly half the price over here! So with the money saved, you could make the RS4S better for less, if you want to mod it! But if money is no issue or you dont want to mess with it too much, then the 260RS is the best Stagea in the range (besides the elusive Nismo Stagea, which is mechanically the same as the Autech 260RS anyway)! Performance = 260RS Value = RS4S If your going nuts on building a monster, then might as well use a S1! Basically, If I won Lotto or something I would hunt down & buy the Nismo 260RS, just to have it on the compliance plate, but seeing as I have a S1 RS4V already, I would just finish building that, as it wouldnt matter which car I started with, they'd both end up the same! They all have a very similar drivability, all offer similar performance once modified, life of the car is the same! Just work out your budget or other confining factors, what you want/need to do with the car; then decide on which best suits your needs & wants! (There isnt a bad Stagea, they are all awesome, thats why we own them!)

my ground to top of rear guard is 610mm! I have a lot of adjustability with these, but it looks like yours hasnt really lowered it at all, maybe an inch?! Also GTR compatible shocks have a fork mount on the rear, not an eye like the s14, gtst & auto stageas! Rear height is the same with either type! Actually i do remember someone have trouble with this before with bc's... (might just be their design?) Yeah post pics & some with the wheel off to show install too, if possible!

My s1 has elec mirrors, I assumed they all did?! As for what to look out for, well like any car, things age & wear. If its had an easy life & kept well maintained, it should run happy for years. But things occasionally do go wrong & such is cars! If its done over 100k then check if it had its major service & timing belt done. No turbo noise. Good compression. Good cooling system. etc... Service history? Then should be ok!? Rust under the mirrors is common. Broken or missing door weather strips (expensive & somewhat difficult to get). The mechanicals are very much the same as the R33 GTR & motor is R33 GTST (s1) or R34 GTT (s2) or R33 GTR (260RS)! Read all the threads, it will give you a pretty good idea of whats going on with Stageas & what people want or have problems with, lots of info in the stickies too! These cars are pretty tough to a point, so if left std & driven normally, then you shouldnt have any real issues! If you chose to mod &/or drive "spirited", then you have "swallowed the red pill" (time to get your hands dirty & your wallet cleaned)! Buy one, they're awesome!

Ive got a split dump pipe for the stagea, if want it, $100 fitted mine fine! (separates wastegate from exhaust wheel till about a foot down, then uses your std pipe to cat though)
