My Nissan Stagea From Purchase Till......
Zorro replied to Rabster The Outlaw's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Nice work, car looks great! -
awd does count for a fair bit on 0-100, but not so over a 1/4m. My s1 c34 0-100 started in the low 7s std, and did a 5.99 before it went pop, using a HKS hard wired timer! Will see with the new motor, low 4s hopefully?
-
My s1 c34 has an auto position also.

Ive got a full set of r33 gtst (front & rear) calipers with bendix ultimates; if anyone is keen? Was going to put on my stag, but i went brembo f50, just looking for rear brembos now!

Wtb Stagea Rubber Cargo Mat/boot Liner
Zorro replied to mgold's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Im keen on a genuine boot carpet & possibly a rubber liner also! -
GTST lol! Well if you want to check it yourself heres a link --> http://www.swisse.com/products/men/mens-ultivite-f1#!ingredients Well we are all big kids, so make up your own mind!
-
Daleo I never said you cant express your opinion, and you seem to have no trouble doing so, but my point was that if your not interested in this product, then why are you reading and commenting on it, when the op asked about people who were? Long story short, taking it is better than not imo however small the benfits are! I have never read their advertising, but i have/do study those topics at uni, as does my house mate whos doing his phd in med & we both believe in the benefits of sups! GTST a semen deficiency, really?!
-
Believe what you will, but no diet no matter how good can give you everything you need! Multi's & other sups simply fill in the holes & guarantee that you are not missing anything that your body needs to function at its best! Go study med, anatomy, nutrition, pharmacology & bio-molecular chemistry if your are unsure of the potential benefits! Begs the question though, If you do not agree with, understand or dislike sups, then why are you reading & posting here, other than to push your own agenda? Troll much? Anyway to the OP question, yes I have used Swisse Ultivite F1 (gluten free) for several years now & I will forever! That and Sustagen Sport, swear by that stuff!

^Nice, a good comprehensive art! I have a lot of respect for Bujinkan & Hatsumi-san.

+1 Drivers side! -
I hinted in an earlier post that you'd be well aware of the costs involved, but for some reading this thread, may not be so informed or experienced! If I strapped a T51r to my 25/30 it would make over 500awkw reliably also, but Im using a GT3040 for a neck snapping 350 (it is a street car after all; albeit over engineered)! As for the NA pistons, yeah 200 is abit on the conservative side, but from an engineering perspective 20yr old cast pistons designed for 80'ish rwkw is not what Id call strong & up to the task at hand! By handgrenade, I mean your taking a gamble, bit like the stock oil pump, sure it might work for a while, but some day be it 5min or 5yrs, will disintegrate with catastrophic consequences! Is it worth the risk?
-
That it would! 8)

Yeah sure you could slap together a barnyard banger for around 2, but if you want a bullet proof high powered 30, with all bolt-ons and associated parts, you looking at huge dollars! Not just the engine block & head, & internal parts but, dont forget gaskets & bolts & bearings & seals & machining, then all the other stuff like, manifolds, turbos, wastegate, bov?, intercooler, piping, lines & hoses, radiator, injectors, fuel pumps & tanks, computer & tuning, exhaust, coil packs & plugs, oil pumps, oil coolers, fluids, sump mods, awd mods, complete driveline, brakes, suspension, wheels & tyres....etc It all adds up fast, you cant just slap a 30 block under a stock 25 or 26 & expect to have a monster! Anything over 200kw on stock 30na pistons is a hand grenade, for the sake of 2-3k you might as well go forged! As for results & reliability you really do get what you pay for! If I had an unlimited budget, yeah a 26 head with a HKS valcon II Vmax (VCT) setup on an RB34 stroker, with twin 3037s on EtOH, would be wild, but then I would need a car worthy of it (ie: R34vspec with a cage), in a stag would be suicide lol! So unless I win lotto, I will have to be content with what Im building (which is still awesome none the less)! Its easy to get caught up in the excitement of it, which is ok, but just prepare to get wallet raped! Honestly ask yourself if its what you really want & is it worth what it takes to get there? If that answer is yes, then be happy with your decision and never NEVER look back! ~my 2cents!

Just for interests sake, an RB30 @ 7000rpm will pump the same amount of air as a RB26 @ 8100rpm or an RB25 @ 8400rpm. (or 8000/ 9250/ 9600) Just something to think about!
-
yeah, it is a bit. 260RS is a GTR! Front and rear diff ratios, rear diff, rear axles, sub frame, rear suspension mounting point on hubs, hicas and rear track width! Although the RS4S is quite similar! The RIPS RB30's are very good but quite expensive, there are a few good engine builders here with RB30 experience that maybe worth talking to first, such as Lewis engines here in Adelaide! My estimate is that you really wont be able to do it right for less than 20large, all things considered! (Im sure Bob & Rob can also attest to just how expensive a high powered 30 can be)
-
The RB30 wont be as easy or as cheap as you think! (if you do it right) In retrospect I should have bought a 260RS! Choose wisely & good luck!
-
In a series 1, dont go over 10psi while stock! The stock smic wont handle any more boost than that anyway (another must do mod if wanting performance)! Also as mentioned a good exhaust & intake will help with breathing ability too! Then coil packs & plugs & &&&&&&&&&&... etc etc

I pm'd you about the radiator mate! -
Im running HKS hypermax2 coilovers with 7f 5r (i have other rates on shelf), plus whiteline os adj swaybars, feels great in the twisties and not too harsh on crap roads either! Much better all round than the stock shocks & lowered king springs i had before! But its personal preference, it depends on what you want to do/ acheive with your car and the $ your willing to spend! Im happy with my setup! Just remember, you get what you pay for!

What Turbo Timer Harness Will Work?
Zorro replied to jonny8ball's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
So many pointless comments relating to personal opinion, local law & utter BS (just answer the question ffs).... as for them being water cooled, so what... oil pressure hello? What ever your reasons are for wanting a TT, are yours and therefore valid! As for the issue at hand, lilcrash had it, with use the HKS r33 harness (part number npt-1), but you will have to trim abit of the plastic on the clip (as stated), otherwise perfect!
