  3. The stagea population must be growing here in Adelaide, as i saw 6 stageas today whilst running around in the delivery car! A black nismo s2 on unley, a red s1 days on winston, a white s2 260 on south, a black one on corner of sturt, one in walker car park & a a m35 axis on west!
  4. Yep, me and a few of the boys are hitting up the 2013 Adelaide challenge! Should be epic hard!

  6. Well the stag isnt back on the road yet, but if you dont mind me joining in with one of my other cars, then im in!
  7. I have trained with Graham, hes not young, he is experienced & defineately well qualified in several arts! Hes a good instructor too! That being said, its Krav, not the most technical of arts (my opinion), and its defintely geared toward mass market mcdojo orientated training! But if youve never done an art before, its a good foundation for future training (if you intend to be a bruce lee), or at the very least it will get you competant enough in a situation, in a relatively short time (its a military tactics hth system)! Also good for fitness!
  8. awd or rwd? keen if awd!
  9. Beside the obvious that the comp ratio is way low, the 38mm gate is far too small for a 1000hp turbo! Then i would also question the reliability of the std rods with that kind of power!
  10. More phonetography....
  11. I also have a pair of Bridgestone Potenza re01 245/40 with ~%60 tread $100pair.

  14. Hi Aki, welcome to SAU, nice looking R33 btw!
  15. No its normal, with a Stagea you'll be making friends with the servo attendant in no time! lol
  16. Nismo R33 GTR bushes are a good option! Link international is the Aus supplier, so your local parts stores should be able to get them if they have an account with them, but Nengun have them at a good price online! http://www.linkauto.com.au/index_page.html http://www.nengun.com/nismo/reinforced-steering-gear-mount-bush
  17. yep fyi, the key for a series1 is a half moon & late series2 is square!
  18. 18x9.5 +14 on my series1 rs4v fits nice with no spacers, but the rear lip needs alot of rolling! rs4s and 260rs will be abit different in the rear as it has 50mm less track.
  19. ok wont let me edit, so part number is: HEGM-DIN (black) or HEGM-DIN-CBN (carbon look).
  20. lol ---> FRP meaning! Most kit cars & some manufacturers cars are made from frp or carbon, kevlar and a few other alternate materials. So im sure it would be possible to get them engineered if need be. I had frp panels all over one of my cars for several years, bonnet, boot, 1/4s, aprons etc, never had a problem with it. Probably no-one ever noticed, being painted?!
  21. what are you using the car for, drifts, burnouts, circuit etc? What is your max rpm? limiter bashing? I believe the power curve ramp up is where some of the dramas are, as in a sudden vertical power graph (ie: gaining 200kw in under 1000rpm) can cause problems wth the oil pumps, but so long as everything is within tolerance, balanced correctly & your using a good balancer (ATI or ROSS & done up properly), with a quality oil pump, i cant see you having too many issues really, considering what other have done with rb30's! You could even use a block girdle to further reinforce it further (platinum racing offers these)! The problem with the oil pumps is common to all rb's really! Not sure how you managed to spin a balancer if it was done up right? Darren is a very competant engine builder & is helping me with my rb30/25, we've discussed alot of these issues, it just seems strange that hes talking you out of the 30.
  22. hmm i dont think your getting the full story from Darren?
  23. Yeah i was looking at the nismo r33 gauges aswell (i like the torque split too), just bog up the corner and paint or di-noc over it! Then figure out connections... oh and its oil temp btw! Or, you can get single din, tripple gauge (staggered), faces for about $25, from most good parts stores (cant remember the part number off the top of my head - i'll put it here later)! Then fit any guage you want.
  24. You could speak to Darren from Lewis Engines, hes just out of Adelaide & knows RB30's well! ph 85385154 or google his webpage. Also, check out what RIPS has done with a standard'ish rb30 & the HighOctane time attack car!
