  1. its great that they perform this course, the cost is fkn ridiculous. Its profiteering off the popularity. I was very very very lucky - I moved upto QLD in 07, and did a one day course to go from my L's to my open licence. Cost prob. $100-150 all up. http://www.sa.gov.au...and+permit+fees Rider Safe motorcycle training courses Level one, basic $364.00 Level two, advanced $324.00 Rider Safe learner's permit (only issued for 24 months )$55.00 $743.00 WTF!!!
  2. Random selection... some new and not so new. I'm too lazy to re-size - i'll let forum-resize take care of it.
  3. FYI - the GS500F will be alot more sit-up than the likes of GSXR 600's, and power and its delivery I can assume would be different also. Alot more 'Commuter' than street racer. If thats what your after.
  4. you'll never sell the car if your too lazy to advertise properly. good luck
  5. haha yeah its a pretty cool sig tho how the fk could a lawyer argue that someone stole something with the intention of returning it??? Its clearly stealing cars, stripping and re-birthing.
  6. Wont it get lower as the springs settle?
  7. Name & Shame! Being 29 ... there will be ALOT of people on this forum that would know or know of him.
  8. Doing new york and Hawaii for our honeymoon at the end of this year... looking forward to a white xmas
  9. My internet is useless... so no online racing for me. I hope GT5 online is alot better than prologues attempt, that sucked donkey nuts. How do people record vid commonly?
  10. lighting is very impressive.
  11. hmm... no. I dont think so (other than adding the watermark).
  12. AF-S 35mm f1.8 is a very nice affordable lens. Would be even better on a D7000 as it takes beautiful pics on my shitty d40x. I did have a Sigma 50mm f1.4 which was unreal, just beautiful bokeh. BUT it had a mis-focus issue with the d40x, had it replaced with a 2nd lens and same issue. A higher spec camera can calibrate for this i was told. I think it was focused on her chin instead of her eyes. 45degree test showed the problem F1.4 F2.8
  13. Bettle pic is kewl. I'm not sold on the 86, its slow (i know most stock cars are) and the looks havn't sunk in yet.
  14. Found em! nice. Maybe we should have a sub-topic for GT5 photography. I get bored enough to actually do this crap... and obviously so do others (tho probably not many).
  15. GT5 shits me sometimes... I did a huge update on Monday night (made bigger cuz my shitty wireless broadband is slow), and then i turn on tuesday night... another update! This one only 80mb. I'm not shitty that they improve the game... i just hate my internets! /Rant Loving being able to change rims on standard cars now.
  16. I was sure there was a GT5 pic thread... i searched and came up empty And skyline related
  17. I dont have lightroom and havn't used it - but some people rave big time about it. Is it that great? I use Bridge to manage my images and then links into Photoshop RAW Editing and further into Photoshop for funny stuff.
  18. I shot a friends wedding on Saturday, hired the Nikon 70-200mm F2.8 VRII. Wow, I really felt my left arm after 3 hours, after 7 hours it was oh so sore.
  19. that is unreal... I would love to see a vid of that in action. Very unique. Good lick with the sale
  20. fk happy valley is too close to home. Cant these scum f**ks target out north like back in the good ol' days. I think its time for some bait cars &/or GPS trackers... this shit has gotta stop.
  21. Thats all well and good, especially if you plan to use the whitecard thing... but If you are walking around alot, different lights and surroundings... yeah i'm not going to think about WB for every photo ontop of everything else. i've tried to do manual WB but got tired of it quickly - i'm too simple. I also cant do anyhting above Medium on guitar hero - that fkn orange key is just not going to happen
  22. a gone in 60 seconds type drama. Look out for a flood of import spare parts, tho probably being sold in WA
  23. I shoot RAW and auto WB. Adobe Bridge and Photoshot RAW work a treat at fixing what the camera may have got wrong.
  24. I bought my G27 for $400 a while back, and built an adjustable stand to suit near any seat... tho mostly i'm on the couch. Dont think i've dragged this thing out in near 6 months tho... another great investment
