+1 agreed, the G27 is fkn fantastic. Had a play with a mates driving force GT setup on the weekend... my G27 felt like a $1,000+ setup in comparison... its far superior in quality and feel.

Yea that the gist of it... but more importantly G25/G27 wheel is not in the very fkn small list of supported wheels that can have their buttons mapped. G25 might be ok, but the G27 has an extra 6 wheel mounted buttons to utilise. I hope an update (sure there will be a fkn ton for this game) address's this. Isn't the G25/G27 meant to be the ducks nuts of affordable wheels for consumers??? It really makes ya question what the f*k they have been doing in all the years between Prologue and this game. The clutch thing is kinda stupid, & was the same in prologue. > if you use the clutch, or at least want to - it means you MUST clutch to change gears. If you fail to do so, it'll fall into neutral, and then you must clutch, take out of gear, put back in gear and clutch out. Even if you dont time the clutch right it does it. I think I'll be using paddles unless they fix it... but i'd rather use the H shifter. (use the H shifter in LFS all the time... bar the sequential shifting cars). But yes you can press Triangle at the start and then your all good... but I sometimes (usually 1st to 2nd) like to clutch n pop for funnzies... cant do it with this setup. There should be an option related to clutch use similar to LFS... auto clutch, semi-auto clutch and manual. At the moment its Auto or Manual... and its a google search to figure that out

finished install.... (wow this advised 45 seconds is farrrrken long).... MEOW! it really did take around 40 minutes... put an xbox with kinect on layby for chrissy... me n mrs played it at a mates a week back and f*k it was a bit of fun. Tho it'll probably be like Wii games... fun for a week n then meh. Tho i'll be getting F3 also... haven't played forza 2 eva, only the original back yonks n yonks ago.

finally just started install... sez 40minutes left... should start a stopwatch

scooted out of work at lunch n grabbed a copy. Get home after work, attempt install. Fk not enough memory... even after deleting all photos n music off. Game data had taken up over 35gb of the 40gb available. So off i go... grab a 500gb HD from local pc store. Backed up, installed new HD, formatted, n currently ready to start uploading all the backup crap. Then i can start the install... might actually get a look at the game tonight if i'm lucky

So... Seen the list of all cars in the game: some random thoughts: Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary '88 - fkn sweet! Holden Commodore SS '04 Holden Monaro CV8 '04 - that's all the holdens... What a surprise, 6+ years ago they were the current models! It's hard to pick out the Aussie ford from the list but the AU xr8 is there... Fk pick a worst car eg?! Isuzu PIAZZA XE '81 - the one n same failed Holden piazza... Guess a Gemini chassis n rolling gear can't handle a spritly turbo 2ltr engine... At least out of the factory that'll be fun hopefully. (I remember reading an archive review of it back at release date... A comment regarding the brakes or handling mentioned "terrifying") Nissan SKYLINE GTS-R (R31) '87 - the only 31, bit disappointing but at least it's there. WhT the f*k have they been doing for 6 years... Very very few cars are newer than 03, like the newest Corolla is an 02.
