been slack for along time... but went camping last weekend n had alot of time on my hand when I wasn't drinking n haven't put my sig thing on... new laptop

so I bought a G27 and built a stand in readyness for GT5's release... but that aint ever going to happen. And bought a new laptop so thought a thrash on LFS was in order. Drifting is fkn hard... dont remember it being this hard with my old wheel. Also forgot about my old skin i made... awesome!!!!!!!! 2p1s! haha apologies for image sizes... and had the laptop connected to the telly, sitting to the side of the big telly... with a telemetry thingo on it... haha GEEK!

might also try a lock washer setup and see how that goes... like the below

yep that was on the original plan... and might be included later. At the moment the lock nuts + washers on both sides and in the middle do hold very well. but also when the wheel is sitting at a good height, the bottom of the top section is near resting on your knee's anyway... so might attempt to include a padded area under there to suit. Being adjustable at both the bottom and top (plus the peddles can be set in 4 different spots securely and shifter swivels to suit) its pretty adaptable to different seating styles... tho so far it feels pretty awesome on the lounge

I had not read this fkn delay bullshit 2 days ago when I bought a new G27 and spent a day building a stand to suit. fk! well its ready to go for 2012 when they finally do release this f**king game... I cant type my rage. anywayz... pics of the the final product (not finished... needs paint but will probably be tinkered with and upgraded as things break/need strengthening)...

Akihabara was a total disappointment... maybe at night time it might be better (ie. more interesting) but we went midday/early arvo and it was just a crap load of shops trying to offload old crappy PC equipment, Few little stores with overpriced toys, camera stores run by some egyptian bloke with len's double what you would pay here in Aus. If anyone is into Models or die-cast cars there was a shop that went over 2 levels chock full of them... inc. trains, BB guns (wish I coulda brought some home)

Sumo tournament in Tokyo

I caught the Airport Limousine Bus... probably the more expensive and time consuming method but it drops you right to your hotel (pending your staying at a major Tokyo hotel) $3,000 yen from memory p/p. Very comfortable. Otherwise the trip was fkn awesome. only doing 5 nights was not exactly a mistake but it made the trip more intense... ie. arriving home was the relaxing part of the holiday Disney land was pure amazing...

Flying out to japan tomorrow afternoon direct from Cairns to Narita... 5 nights. Planning this trip to just stay in Tokyo... 1 day at disneyland, day tour of some waterfalls, sumo tournament begins the day before we leave so doing a tour of a museum and then going to a match. Other than that just keen to sample the food n buy lots of useless gadgets and gifts.

The brightness issue is my pc screen at home... It must be far too bright as I have a picture spot on on the screen n it's crazy dark printed or on another computer.

This is my current daily... But i'm fkn sick of having to ride it everyday. Its no fun anymore... so just bought a 2nd daily (which will become the Mrs's daily)... flying down to brissy on the weekend to drive it back up. the daily commonwhore (which will soon be my daily)...

Harley (tan staffy) has recently taken a liking to the bean bag - usually Rambo's (black bitza) favourite spot. As you can see he's none too happy about her being there but she seems oblivious to his attempt to sqeeze her out

thats bloody awesome... and yeah the lighting is flawless

So a cactus v4 kit, light stand n umbrella will arrive in a few days. Once I pick up another flash I'll but a 2nd receiver n stand/umbrella
