  1. Hey everyone, My 33 has a cracked windscreen. Any tips on where to go in Townsville and roughly how much? Cheers!
  2. My rear speakers (3 months old) are distorting/cracking constantly. Its hard to describe, but basically even at barely audible volume levels, the bass line in any track will just be a series of crackles. Mids/higher range don't crackle as much, but still sound pretty bad. I initially thought dodgy head unit, so swapped this out, this didn't work, so ran a new wire directly to the speakers from the head unit, still crackly, so I tried plugging in a different speaker, and it seemed fine. Although the obvious problem seems to be dodgy speakers, I just thought I'd ask here before buying some new ones...again. They're only new, and Polk, so I would have thought it pretty unlikely to have any problems, and with both at the same time. Is it possible that the child-seat mounting bolt & hardware, that's drilled through the speaker grille, is causing problems? I wasnt sure if it may have been pushing down on the cones, but loosening off the bolts and moving the mounts around didn't seem to make a difference. Anybody know of something else to check, or have any other ideas? Cheers
  3. Cool, thanks for that. Sounds like I should be right to leave it at least another year! Cheers
  4. Hi, I've done a fair bit of searching but have come across a variety of answers, so would appreciate a bit of help. 1.I had the coolant changed when I bought the car (6 months ago). The resevoir tank came back quite low, so I topped it up with demineralised water, about 400ml and its sitting halfway between full and low. Would this affect the properties of the coolant to a significant degree, or is it ok to leave as is--not sure if I really need to change the coolant. 2. I've had a look here/workshop manual/youtube at the flushing procedure. Either now or eventually I'd like to do it myself. The workshop manual/youtube videos seem to just drop the old coolant out and replace it, without really flushing it (is this what most workshops do)? I'm not keen on trying to remove the drain plug on the block, I think it might best be left alone! Basically what I'm thinking of doing is: 1. Ignition ON, heat 32deg, drain coolant, remove resevoir tank and coolant. 2. Install resevoir tank, drain plug. 3. Ignition on, heat 32deg, fill engine with demineralised water (can I skip opening the bleeder valve here?) 4. Run up to temp. 5. Let car cool. 6. Repeat 1-3. 7. Open bleeder valve, fill up with coolant mixture, finish as per workshop manual. Would this work OK to flush the old coolant out? I've read a few different procedures on here but just wondering if this would work. Cheers!
  5. Hi, I saw this crack on the RHS tail light of a 33 S2 I was looking to buy--is it worth getting fixed at all? Cosmetically I don't mind, but would a crack in that place let water in etc?
