Timmy's R34 Gtt
timmy_89 replied to timmy_89's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Honestly.... I don't know lol. Would love to get a GTR, but don't think I could justify the cost of modifying to my liking and tracking it. Realistically I think I just need to keep tracking this one and enjoy it for now lol. -
It's the actual gauges. DBA4000's as below - sorry the pics aren't the clearest, I can try and get some better ones for those interested

Just clearing out my garage after moving as I have too much stuff - especially wheels. 4x Works 17x8 +35 rims (unsure of model name) - $500ono 2x brand new 235/45R17 tyres (I think Hiflys) 2x aged/used 245/45R17 Dunlop semi slicks *****I purchased these as a used set of rims for skids/drifting and are not in perfect condition but hold air perfectly and balanced up fine when the tyres were fitted 2x Rota P45R2 18x9.5 +20 (matte black) - $650ono 2x near new 235/40R18 Maxxis tyres *****I purchased these brand new and have babied them, only been driven on the street for around 10,000kms 2x Rota DPT 18x9.5 +22 (matte black) - $550ono 2x near new 235/40R18 Maxxis tyres *****Purchased these used and they have a few small marks from various track days but balance up perfectly as well 2x Rota DPT 18x9.5 +22 (rattle can blue) - $150 2x near bald 235/40R18 tyres *****Purchased used with the above pair however have copped much abuse from drift days and are both buckled. One rim has had a crack repaired. Both hold air fine but are definitely not suitable for on the road Will take $1100 for the 4x good Rota's or $1200 for all 6. All wheels located in Bathurst NSW, willing to post at buyers expense or alternatively meet as far as Lithgow or Sydney/Canberra at a convenient time.

Timmy's R34 Gtt
timmy_89 replied to timmy_89's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
So things have been a bit quiet, to be honest the car sat on stands for like the last 3 weeks lol. I did an engine and diff oil change and the car sat there up until the weekend just gone. I will be attending Nulon Nationals this Friday, as I have been invited by the Nulon team, though I'll still be cheering for the SAUNSW team . If you're there, come say hi. Things have been slow with the car because I've been recouping some funds spent in preparing the car for NSWTA and keeping quiet. I'm trying to plan ahead and decide whether this is the car I want to continue racing with, not that I have anything wrong with this, would just love to either really kick things up a notch power wise (I've done practically everything else that I wanted to now), or alternatively move on to a dedicated track car. I have made no real decision - only time will tell. The difficulty is, as always when selling modified cars, I know how much I'll lose out on if I sell this car lol. Anyway, will post vids and/or pics after this weekend ^_^ -
Thread revival - what's happening with the car?

I don't even drift anymore ....intentionally -
Hmm, apologies, I was under the impression all GTR R32/33/34 had the BM57 BMC. Can you confirm what it does have Joe?

.....ownership transferred to Timmy -
Unsure how strict Vic is with RWc's. Sorry I don't have any info, might be best investigating with someone in your state
-
I believe the R32 GTR already has a BM57 BMC, which is what is recommended for the kit. I will confirm and let you know if that is not the case.

Ok guys, there have been four people jump on the group buy and Alpha Omega is leaving the coupon code valid until the 30th as an EOFY discount. The discount will not be offered after this date so if you are interested in getting this kit jump on it whilst you can save yourself some money! Cheers to everyone that has already jumped on board
-
Alpha Omega have increased the coupon code for a couple of days to allow others to get their purchase made.
-
Lol. I will get in touch with then and see if they will fix it up again. Might not be until Monday though.

Ok all, for anyone else interested in the discount on the adaptor kit, Alpha Omega has asked me to give out the coupon code! To receive the discount, all you need to do is use the coupon code 'sau-gb' on the online shopping cart on the Alpha Omega website. If you use it, give me a heads up and I'll be able to follow up your order for you. The coupon code will only be valid for a limited time as it has been created for this group buy only.
