  1. That gets us into the next bracket guys with a current total of 11 kits! Meaning front adaptor kits receive a $50 discount and rear kits receive a $100 discount. 5 more kits and that jumps again so tell your friends
  2. OK guys, because of the miscommunication with dates, the final day for expressions of interest in the group buy has been extended to Friday 7th October 2016. The coupon code will be distributed to all parties ASAP after this date to allow orders to be placed. Processing and shipment of orders should remain in line with Monday 17th October as originally detailed.
  3. OK guys so we have 9 kits currently. 2 more and we will hit the next discount bracket. I also noticed that there was a mistake in my original post regarding dates. I said the group by would end on Sunday 28th September, obviously it is not Sunday tomorrow, just re-confirming the end date with Alpha Omega
  4. They post internationally. Delivery price is on a case by case basis I'm pretty sure for international delivery.
  5. That makes for 8, 3 more kits and the group buy will jump into the next discount bracket
  6. Hey Stranger, Yes these will fit an R34 GTT but as above not with factory wheels. The new lines will need to be made to the appropriate length and have the correct fittings either end. As Ryan has posted above, there is a new group buy for these kits which also includes two versions of the rear kit so feel free to jump in there for more info and post any further questions Tim
  7. hooly dooly... looks like it packs a couple of killawasps
  8. Haven't received any PM's from people that haven't posted in here as well, so based on above looks like we have interest in 7 kits currently.
  9. Sounds good, see you there
  10. Bit slow with updates again..... After the last Nulon Nationals round, my good mate Sam (f**king top bloke) helped me begin making a rear firewall for in the car. It's still not quite finished so I don't have any pictures of it in the car, but here is a progress shot. Towards the end of August I also attended round 5 of NSW Supersprint series which was also on the GP Circuit at SMSP. I was able to set a new PB of 1:48.5 (only just, but a PB is a PB lol). Turns out this was also a class record within the series so pretty happy with that. I've just realised that I don't have any footage uploaded for this so will get onto that soon haha. Also, in more exciting news, I left the car with Prowraps and Graphics recently for Jeremy to design and apply (??) the new wrap. To say I was happy with the result would be a complete understatement...... There are still a few finishing touches to be done (such as the mirrors), but I had to pick the car up early to complete some pre-WTAC maintenance and finish things like the rear firewall off. Can't thank Jeremy enough for the solid effort that he put in to designing the wrap and getting it on the car in the time he had the car. More updates to come soon, watch this space!
  11. Apologies, I also meant to include a link to the WTAC edition rear kit as there is a small modification to the caliper required for this kit to fit, due to the fact there is no hub spacer used. http://alphaomegaracing.com/p/149/c/72/Z32/ALPHA-OMEGA/Evo-350mm-Brembo-Rear-Brake-Adapter-Kit-WTAC-Edition.html If you have any questions about it feel free to ask here or shoot me a PM.
  12. Alpha Omega Racing Evo 350mm Big Brake Kit Group Buy Round 3 (WTAC rear kit available) Hey all, Alpha Omega Racing are running a group buy again just in time for World Time Attack Challenge. You may already be aware, Alpha Omega Racing have been developing adaptor kits to fit front and rear Evo Brembo’s to S/R/Z chassis for some time now. This is now the third group buy run for the brake adaptor kits, and will this time include the front adaptor kit (Version 3), rear adaptor kit, and the new WTAC edition rear adaptor kit which has been developed to meet WTAC Clubsprint rules. Company: Alpha Omega Racing www.alphaomegaracing.com Products: Evo 350mm Brembo Front Brake Adaptor Kit and/or Evo 350mm Brembo Rear Brake Adaptor Kit. These adaptors are 100% CNC machined billet alloy, grade 7075, which is super lightweight and high strength. What's included (front kit): - Left and right adapters made out of one piece of 7075-T6 billet aerospace alloy - Various high tensile 12.9 bolts and high tensile washers - Full installation instructions with pictures Front fitment with 17x9 +15 What's included (rear kit): - Left and right adapters made out of one piece of 7075-T6 billet aerospace alloy - Hub spacers (standard rear kit only) - Various high tensile bolts and high tensile washers - Full installation instructions with pictures Rear fitment with 18x10 +35 What you need to get (front kit) - B.Y.O. or supplied by Alpha Omega Racing: - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo frontcalipers(including pads/pins/shims/clip) - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10 front 350x32mm rotors - Custom brake lines Alpha Omega Racing can supply all of the above parts, but you also have the options of sourcing them yourself. I personally sourced parts for my front kit elsewhere as I had my own lines made and picked up a cheap set of calipers. Alpha Omega Racing has these parts listed at: - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo frontcalipers (used) - $850 - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10front350x32mm DBA T3 rotors (new) - $470; or - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10front350x32mm DBA5000 2pc (new) - $1200 - HEL custom braided brake lines (new) - $130 What you need to get (rear kit) - B.Y.O. or supplied by Alpha Omega Racing: - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo rear calipers (including pads/pins/shims/clip) - Nissan 370Z rear 350x20mm rotors - Custom brake lines Again, Alpha Omega Racing can supply all of the above parts if desired. I personally sourced all parts from Alpha Omega Racing for convenience with the rear kit. Alpha Omega Racing has these parts listed at: - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo rear calipers (used) - $450 - Nissan 370Z rear 350x32mm DBA T2 rotors (new) - $450 - HEL custom braided brake lines (new) - $110 Silvia (180SX/S13/S14/S15) drivers who want a functioning handbrake will need to use the R32/R33/R34/Z32 rear drum setup, a very common upgrade. It is also worth noting that the standard rear kit requires a 6mm hub spacer to be installed for caliper clearance, this will also push your wheel/tyre out a further 6mm so may affect guard clearances. Alpha Omega Racing can also offer services to rebuild your used calipers, powder coat them, or even install the whole kit. Using both the front and rear big brake kits developed by Alpha Omega will result in a 69:31 brake bias. Wheel clearance: Minimum of 17" race style wheels with good clearance are required. Brake Master Cylinder: You are able to retain your factory brake master cylinder, however it is recommended to upgrade to a brake master cylinder with a piston size of 17/16" (such as a BM57). Genuine OEM BM57 BMC’s are available from Alpha Omega Racing at a price of $500 (new), or you could also try to source from your usual Japanese parts suppliers or Nissan dealership if you desired. Price: Pricing for this group buy will be calculated per number of kits sold, not per buyer. For example, if 3 people buy a front and rear kit each, this will be calculated as 6 kits sold. Prices will be as below: 1-4 kits sold - Front adapter kit for $370ea (no savings yet, group buy not activated) - Rear adapter kit for $450ea (no savings yet, group buy not activated) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $390ea (no savings yet, group buy not activated) 5-10 kits sold - Front adapter kit for $345ea (save $25) - Rear adapter kit for $400ea (save $50!) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $340ea (save $50!) 11-15 kits sold - Front adapter kit for $320ea (save $50!) - Rear adapter kit for $350ea (save $100!!) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $290ea (save $100!!) 16+ kits sold - Front adapter kit for $295ea (save $75!!) - Rear adapter kit for $300ea (save $150!!!) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $240ea (save $150!!!) Braided brake lines, rotors, calipers, bleeders, rebuilding, etc are not part of this group buy but you are welcome to order them altogether. Group Buy Condition: The group buy will run until close of business on Sunday 28th September 2016. Anybody interested in purchasing either of the kits as part of the group buy should notify me by the cut-off date and I will add them to the 'buyer list'. At the conclusion of the group buy (29th September 2016), I will tally the number of buyers and advise Alpha Omega with the total numbers. A discount ‘coupon code’ will be provided to each buyer on the 30th September 2016 allowing them to get the appropriate discount in the shopping cart on the Alpha Omega Racing website. It is expected that most orders will be placed between 3rd – 7th October 2016. Alpha Omega Racing will be closed during World Time Attack Challenge dates (10th – 14th October 2016). Upon returning to business, they will begin processing/shipping as soon as they return from their closure period for WTAC on the 17th October 2016. Prior to the cut-off date all communication will be with me either via this thread or via PM. At the conclusion of the group buy, once you have been provided with the discount code, all communication will be between the buyer and Alpha Omega Racing. All shipping and payment details will be between the buyer and Alpha Omega Racing only. Any warranty on the product(s) will be provided by Alpha Omega Racing. If you have any questions, regarding the kit or the pricing, please don't hesitate to ask either by posting in this thread or sending me a PM. Cheers, Tim
  13. After seeing the above I knew I needed to do some more investigating. I was glad I had left the heat shield off the turbo so that I was able to see this. When I got home I got straight into pulling the turbo off. I had the turbo flange and spacer plate machined as after seeing the heat in them, there was no doubt they would be at least a little warped. After we, I removed the injectors to have them flow tested, suspecting that the car was running lean to cause this much heat, it was possible an injector was partially blocked after running E85 for almost a year. Surprisingly, they tested perfectly: We decided to pull out the injector plug adaptors and hard wire some plugs in to rule out any issues with the adaptors. We cleaned the fuel filter and then ran it up on the dyno at Redsun Motorsport. I was happy to see that the car was making similar power to what it was when it was last tuned ^_^ . AFR's and fuel pressure all seemed fine, and more importantly the turbo didn't look like a nuclear reactor meltdown was about to occur. We did find something surprising whilst I was on the dyno though, and that was that the boost settings on my eboost2 were not what I thought they were. Turns out I have been running most events on only 15psi (~270rwkw) since the last tune. I guess this is good news in a way? Lol.... This bring us to Nulon Nationals Round 3, held on the GP Circuit at SMSP. The car ran relatively fault-less all day. Unfortunately the tyres are beyond there prime so it was difficult to hold speed through corners. We left the tune and boost settings as were so that we could see how the car performed. I managed to put down a 1:49.7 on the day, a little slower then I was hoping, but still under the 1:50 mark at least.
  14. After developing the miss at Sandown, I swapped the spark plugs, changed coil packs, and checked all cooler pipes. The miss still occurred intermittently but was definitely happening less. I also blew another turbo gasket, so had to replace this. After replacing the gasket, I ran out of time to look for any other causes of the miss and decided to risk it and headed to Round 4 of the NSW Supersprint Championships which was held on SMSP Brabham Circuit. I was excited to get out on track as this would be the first time I would attack the main straight at SMSP. Unfortunately the car developed a constant miss as soon as I went on track for the 'sighting' session. After checking over a few things I went to Redsun Motorsports workshop to get some help from Matt to troubleshoot the issue, he was very quick to find that one of my injector plug adaptors had a loose wire. We played with the wire and had the car running well for a temporary fix. I drove back to SMSP to make it out for the last session for my group. I managed to put down a best lap of 2:15.8. There was definitely some more time in the car, but I managed set the fastest lap for my class and set a new class record!! Unfortunately, after pulling back into the pits after the one session I found this.....
  15. I was also fortunate enough to head down to Sandown Raceway with Nulon for the VicSprint series that are running. The car suffered a few issues including a miss which developed progressively over the day. I still managed to set a PB of 1:25.01, but definitely hope to get back there again as I know there is definitely at least a couple seconds left in it.
  16. A bit delayed with uploading the footage from Nulon Nationals.
  17. Evo calipers are bigger then GTR and the 350mm rotors are obviously bigger as well lol.
  18. This is great mate! Car looks super clean and sounds like you had a great buy to begin with ^_^
  19. Have you started running E85? I'm running the same pump and injectors in my R34 and have not had any issues.
  20. Here are a couple of photos that have come up since that weekend that I am really liking. Videos are up on the CNTS Racing Facebook page, once I have time to post on YouTube I will link on here though.
  21. This weekend just gone I was fortunate to drive for Bathurst Light Car Club in Nulon Nationals Rd2. Saturday was the Esses hill climb, which I had not driven since the new turbo/flex setup. It was great fun and I set myself a new PB of 28.93 seconds. The track was very greasy for the first couple of runs and there were a couple of cars that had incidents, but I still tried to push my best and hug the walls as best I could. Unfortunately I hugged one wall about 2mm too much and scratched my rims on it (didn't touch any panels), so I have a small collection of orange paint on my rim now SpeedRun were there to capture the moment On Sunday we ran the Mountain Straight hill climb. Was great to see some of the more powerful cars stretch their legs, unfortunately I was unable to better my previous PB though. I managed to piece together a best run of 51.11 seconds. At the end of the weekend I was happy to come away with 5th overall in class (2WD Turbo), as well as the trophy 'Parachute Pants' for pushing my limits around the track
  22. After the Esses Decent I decided to give the car a full service. Changed engine, gearbox and diff oils. Checked all other fluids. I also found a turbo gasket leak. Fun times.....lol. After removing the turbo I found that the studs had warped. I purchased some new studs, removed the old ones, then snapped one of the new ones putting it in This meant I had to remove the manifold to get the broken stud removed, so I took the opportunity to get the holes re-tapped. Eventually got everything back together. Oh.... I also removed the A/C from the engine bay
  23. Woops, I've been slack with updates again. The Esses Decent event was great fun. I managed to come 4th outright for the day with a new PB of 40.38s.
