  1. beef: yes she works at coles in newstead, and that is (was) her car in the car park...
  2. this may appear to be a little off topic, but.... after reading HPI and thier build up of the r32 4 door, they used a wolf ecu and said that the r32 and r33 PNP ecu's were the same... they even included a photo of the sticker on the ecu saying "r32/33gtst"... now, would i be correct in saying that an r33 pfc would work on an r32? just curious cause i wanna buy an ecu for my r32 but don't want to rewire and don't want to spend shitloads on an AP engineered pfc...
  3. ok, i performed a search and got tired of sifting through 8 pages of nothing to do with this question, i thought it would be an appropriate time to actually post this question... will r32/33 gtr seats (driver and passenger) fit in a r32 gtst without any modification?? apologies if this is posted in the wrong area too... i'm kinda new to this forum (posting anyway ) cheers.
  4. bahahaaaaaa @ timmy!
  5. rofl @ phat mr30!!!! he's prolly got a sneaky pete setup... only problem is, pete is a little too sneaky, he turned himself into a washer bottle....
  6. my previous ride was a mazda rotary (the MOST temprmantal engine ever)... after i rebuilt it, i ran it in on a mineral based oil (like royal purple) for 500 km's not revving it part 3500rpm... after that put semi-synth and did another 500km's not letting it rev over 5500rpm... then at 1000 km's changed oil and sparks and got to flog the guts out of it revving it to 9000rpm... yay... moral of the story is: running in is done so that you can slowly bed your pistons/rotors/hampsters in properly at their full potential... so slowly build up to flogging the guts out of your ride (not that u should give it a flogging 24/7, that can make things turn sour). that is all..... ps. please feel free to correct me if so needed.

  8. cheers guys... sydney kid: that all sounds good... but i really cant be F$%#ed with having to screw around with hybrid engines (i'm guessin an rb31det is a hybrid)... as i am looking to build the factory engine... but it still sound tough nedb: thanks for your input... much appreciated... also, is geting about 400wkw in a GTR really as simple as they (zoom magazine) suggest? ie. upgrade exhaust, turbo's, injectors, ecu, intake......
  9. hi there... i am currently lookin at purchasing a r32 GTR... but that is beside the point... i am in a heated arguement with a friend over bang for buck between a r32 GTst and a r32 GTR... his arguement is that u could spend the same amount of money on the rb20 and make the same power of that of an rb26.. my freinds arguement explained in this equasion... cost of gsts + mods = stock GTR now my arguement is why not buy a GTR and save maybe a few $$$ and have a better performance base... sure you will spend a bit more on mods but the overall outcome will be much greater... cost of GTR + mods = THORPY SAYS ITS FULLY SIK! now, to go slightly off track... After stumbling across an old Zoom magazine, i read that 400wkw can be achieved in an rb26 by upgrading the turbo's, exhaust, ecu and injectors (and the other little things that go with it) and not really have to look at strengthening the engine internals.... would i be right in assuming a fair bit of modification would be needed to get a rb20 putting out the same power as a stock gtr? i would just like to know cause i use to be a simple rotary owner who has "seen the light"... and i am sick of spending dead money on engine rebuilds.... cheers Cal.
