  2. last few reps felt fine off the floor, grip was still good just couldn't lock them out
  3. ....and it was very windy, the sun was in my eyes and my vagina hurts today technically I did both the SAU and ProRaw deadlift challenges today... SAU challenge = 19 reps... ProRaw challenge = 1 rep lol!
  4. 88kg x 2.5 = 220kg... my current DL PR is 220kg lol dezz: have you had any time off? and I don't mean a deload, I mean a week or two completely away from a gym... sitting on a beach is preferable
  5. I was... but I'm in the middle of a program for GPC states and TTT scared me by telling me not to hurt myself... I should've done it today when I trained... I won't win anyway, I HATE deadlifts for reps... anything over 5 sucks balls lol

  12. yeah I really have NFI about that whole scene so found that to be a very informative read... cheers for posting anybody watch the Lance Armstrong interview?... thought he gave a pretty good account of it all but unfortunately too many people are waaaay too butthurt to let him off the hook... he's pretty well fcked are we really that naive to think the guys doing the hardest feat of physical endurance on the planet earth aren't using drugs to help them recover from day after day after day of brutal riding... grow up FFS he's an idiot for the way he's handled the whole thing and sounds like a bit of an asshole... but lets face it, most guys that are that driven would be a c*nt to live with
  13. to be fair Nina would smash a lot of guys at many different lifts... I'm a bit of a fan of hers! he's not been training for it and still gave it a go so props to him for putting the vid up your very clever with the way you motivate people, it works too... but your so much like my old man its scary lol

I find I can squat and bench multiple times a week and still get quality work in on other movements but deadlifting has to be planned out a bit because of the lower back fatigue... once the lower back and grip is gone I find it hard to do much else and need a full 48 hours to recover... otherwise my workout is compromised... lots of foam rolling on the lower back helps I used to give equal time to squatting and deadlifting but now I'm focussing more on squatting and just deadlifting once a week... I find a stronger squat helps the DL, but it doesn't work the other way round

  18. yes... I suck at bench press about 87-88kg at the moment thanks Markos, as long as I get over 550kg I'll consider it a success

  20. lifted at PTC today... running basic PPP in lead up to GPC states aiming for a 200kg squat, 125kg bench press and 240kg deadlift
  21. girls should be 50kg at most... slightly more ROM due to the 15kg plates but 60kg is too much IMO

  23. totally agree... my mate lifts and is very lean with full abs... but I live much healthier and completely destroy him in pretty much any athletic competition we try (and I tell him about it... a lot) I'm mostly interested in performance however I'd still like an awesome physique... but I refuse to sacrifice my health for it still the excess fat isn't doing me any favours... fat doesn't lift weight and unlike muscle it does slow you down
