Squat: 160 > 170 (current PR) > 175 or 180 depending on how hard the 170 is... I've hit the 170 a couple of times in the gym since but they were HARD Bench: 110 > 115 (current PR) > 120 ... I failed 120 in the gym a few weeks ago but I reckon I can get it tomorrow... Deadlift: 210 > 225 > 240 ... a bit ambitious but I don't think I've truly maxed my DL yet... PR is 215 but that came up fairly easily and was done in basketball boots lol... I have slippers now I think this will be my last comp without knee wraps... and I may experiment using a belt next year either way I'll be having a rest from the heavy 1rm stuff after this comp... try to lean up a bit, improve mobility, do some bodybuilding, all the boring stuff... then if I'm still keen hit the heavy stuff hard next year and figure out where I want to compete

Yeah for sure, good advice... I am focused on my total, been running through the lifts in my head over and over... maybe too much! about 87.5kg at the moment... at least 88kg by the time I'm finished eating tonight lol bit nervous about the squat... dunno why... but looking forward to deadlifting and really going all out

hahaha yeah totally! gethugeandjackedolone is great... I inject it straight into my nuts I wasn't nervous at the novice comps, I guess because everyone were noobs and there were no expectations... I'm pretty much shitting myself right now... eeek

okay, I'm getting nervous now... I had a fcking dream about ProRaw this morning... I overslept and was running late, was going to miss weigh ins and warm ups etc... woke up freaking out then realised it was Friday...

nobody would let you work in with them? I don't know why people don't like working in with squats or deads... the time between sets is more than enough for someone else to reload the bar and get a set in

Did my last heavy session (deadlifts/bench) on Sat... was meant to train yesterday but feeling pretty beaten up so cancelled it and just went and ate a massive parma and chips... will go tomorrow and run through some light warm ups to keep loose Will ramp up the eating even more now... next two days are going to be awesome... god I love eating Markos don't read this bit: I better enjoy it because after Sat I'm going to lean up... I've put on good size this year so would like to see the results of the hard work... yes apparently I'm vain!

yep stress 100%... its a cycle... stressed so you get poor sleep, which makes it harder to concentrate and remember things... this makes you even more anxious and stressed... which leads to more poor sleep... then people OD on caffeine to help them focus and it makes sleep even harder writing a list helps as you know it's on a bit of paper and you don't need to worry your forgetting something... I know it sounds like something girls do but it helps lol if you wake up in the middle of the night don't just lie there being a nervous wreck... get up and read a book or watch TV for half an hour or so til you feel sleepy again then go back to bed good luck with the study... don't forget to go out and have fun every now and then;)

do you write a list of all your deadlines? if you compile a list you know it's all written down so your not trying to retain it all in your noggin do you exercise? getting some proper exercise is a must to switch your brain off do you drink a lot of caffeine? if yes, try not to have any after lunch... and cut back

lol My Mrs is actually very cool... when I met her she had a bigger porn collection than I did... I knew she was a keeper I once sent her a pic because the girl was her clone... there was a scary few seconds when I thought it WAS her... your not sure whether you should be turned on or not... it's all very confusing lol that's one moment when I actually was thinking about her! Hey Dezz do you do a lot of crunches and work at a desk? I was watching this video and thought about your problems with your hamstrings Don't quit dude! Don't be a squishy, soft excuse for a man like 90% of the population, 8 years is too much work to give up on... I bet you still look 100 times better than the average gym goer anyway... maybe change your focus a bit... if bodybuilding isn't going to be your thing why not try weightlifting/powerlifting/strongman... or even crossfit! ...if your desperate... having just taken up powerlifting its pretty demoralising to see a teenage kid smash your lifts after walking into a gym for the first time... but hey, shit happens... they catch a bus home and jerk off in their bedrooms trying not to get caught by their mum... I drive home, sit in front of my big ass TV and jerk off trying not to get caught by my wife lol *sigh* I shouldn't be allowed near a keyboard

lol last night I didn't start my workout like usual with squats or deadlifts as I wanted to work on my bench and pressing exclusively... weirdly even though I did about 8 different exercises it didn't feel like a workout... I wasn't tired (apart from a massive delt/tricep pump) and I left feeling unsatisfied and annoyed... plus I missed a paused 120 bench... I now have 10 days to get this lift or I'm going to have a tantrum in front of a whole bunch of people

great read thanks Markos Birds: I think your on the right track plus probably easier to support very heavy weights on your back as opposed to holding them in your hands so I got my soft suite yesterday (a Metal one)... I tried it on and my wife almost died laughing at me... I look like a bear stuffed into a 1920's swimsuit...
