Hi all, had this Trust cooler on my 33GTR but as its a street car I have gone back to a stock sized cooler this is suited for drag/track/street applications, for above stock power the core is approx 710mm wide x 320mm high x 110mm deep in good condition but could really do with a long bath in some detergent... had mesh in front of it so only a couple of bent fins easily straightened with some pliers $800 firm located in SE Melbourne prefer pick up as very bulky to ship... I will but you pay postage

okay so if you go under 2min you just get 2min as your recorded time incidentally what's the purpose for having a 'base time'? -
nah keep that lip... sooo much more practical and I reckon looks better in black do you really care if someone asks if its really a series 3!? seriously talk about pedantic... drive your car and enjoy it... looks good as is, don't stress

yeah still not great but in a clubbie forget about SIPS... they would drive right over you my 33R has airbags at least... and I'm much easier to see (and hear)... clubman type cars are so low they're hard to see in traffic -

I almost bought one... but as I needed to drive it on the road I was bothered by the safety aspect... if anyone hit you you would be making a trip to the hospital As soon as I have the space for a toy I'll be seriously considering it again -
Dezz are you stretching before you play? if yes try instead doing some dynamic stretching... which is things like squats and lunges etc with light dumbells or kettle bells... only for a couple of minutes too... there is some strong evidence against the old warmup methods of lots of slow cardio and traditional stretching etc worth a try at least

that's because the owners refuse to take out the 12 subs before they hit the track... coz you gotta haz beats when ya racin, bro -
and let's face it, it takes about 15min to swap the stocker back on just don't get the ones with all the vents... they're gay
-
12, 10, 8, 6 for really heavy stuff I can even go as low as 4... for example I was doing 140kg deadlifts last night but could only get 4... I'll keep doing them at that weight until I can get 6 ones with good form then I'll step up in weight
-
Not 'legal' but I drove around with a carbon bonnet for years... got pulled over a few times... got questioned about how close the exhaust was to the ground and how much tread I had on my tyres... but nobody ever mentioned the bonnet mine didn't have any vents or holes though, was an exact replica of the standard bonnet just in carbon

but they sound like arrrrrrse do the opposite of what I did... I sold my perfectly good 33 GTSt track/street car to buy a big power 33GTR... cos I always wanted a GTR... now I can't track it cos I bought a really clean one and can't bare to dent it and can't afford to maintain it as a track/street car... weight is a killer on the pocket and my wife dropped a bomb on me the other day... even though the GTR has about 600hp and is blur your vision fast she says to me, 'your old car was more fun'... agh... I think she's right too I'm with Roy... R33GTSt... strip it, GTR brakes and wheels, good suspension, mild turbs upgrade (the stocker is a good street turbo but is a real choker on track) now someone make me sell the GTR... so hard to do... I need a bigger garage -
whoa... caught some of the European weightlifting champs last night, was the girls who are under 53kgs fark me, they were lifting well over 100kgs in the clean and jerk... one girl attempted 126kgs... I was squatting not much more weight than that the other night and it was pretty farkin hard... they are tiny little women grabbing that shit off the floor and throwing it above their head!... I now feel like a giant pussy then this chick walked on the stage... I loves her...

you want to put on weight... squats and deadlifts dude... your thighs are the biggest muscles in your body, train them! The worst are people with 'bad backs'*... when I tell them they have bad backs because they're lacking muscle to hold correct posture etc and need to do some resistance training they look at me like I'm on crack... then they go out and buy a $5000 mattress and a special chair for the office... yep that'll fix it * this is obviously excluding those that have had serious back injuries etc
-
I love it when people are turned off certain training methods because they don't want to be all freaky huge and ripped... ahhh dude I wouldn't worry about that, it takes 10+ years of full time training and suitable genetics to look like that, you'll be fine... especially women, they don't want to do any resistance training because they don't want to look all muscly (which they won't for the same reason as above... except its even harder for women to get 'ripped')... which is a shame because its really good for you my wife hits the weights with us... she's about 50kg with really skinny arms and legs so its farkin hilarious watching her struggle to lift the olympic bar with the tiniest 1.25kg plates on it lol
-
you may lose 5kg but its almost certainly mostly water... which you will put straight back on there are NO magic cures... speaking of water, drink plenty... and stay away from fizzy drinks, even the 'diet' ones Adz plan he posted is great, I do a similar thing just without the protein shakes... I carb load Fri night and Sat as well... soooooo good I'm drooling as I type
-
a lot of those supps are full of sugar and other crap Birds... my old man is a PT and into all this stuff, he recommends a protein supp that doesn't have any of the other crap... I don't take it because its expensive and tastes like arse lol edit: I can get the name of it if your keen

humans have been eating meat since the beginning of existence... we've only been farming and processing grains for the last few 1000 years (not a very long time from an evolutionary stand point) hence the argument against large amounts of simple/processed carbs eat like a caveman, get lots of exercise and sleep, avoid processed foods, smoking etc... that's about the best you can do IMHO... oh and stop worrying... stress is a killer and can stop you from losing fat etc
-
please tell me your not buying into the meat gives you cancer argument... seriously that's ridiculous... bananas are great for you, just not great for your wallet atm edit: thanks!
-
both 8kg of muscle in a month would be some kind of record... I agree with Birds on that one sorry
-
I eat all the right shit nowadays... take a bag of food to work eat little meals 5-6 times a day... lots of protein, chicken breast, boiled eggs... stay away from simple carbs like bread, pasta, potatoes etc... snack on almonds, low fat yogurt blah blah... its working, just slowly and I have no patience... and I still eat shit on the weekend and drink too much beer although I have cut back a lot I just don't lose fat easily... I put on muscle pretty easily tho which is good I guess... f**k all this talk of food has made me hungry
-
US or Canadian?
-
I can do one arm pull ups! (while I grab my wrist with the other hand lol) the worst part Birds is that I can feel abs under there... they're hiding under all those hamburgers/beer... I'm a good boy now and it sucks I refuse to run tho, too boring... I play basketball and box, keeps me entertained while I sweat I don't take supps... rather spend my money on coke and hookers, you know, stuff that's good for you
-
can you not please... that's the way I go home from work and we don't need anymore cops on beach rd seriously though, Friday night!? your mad... if your going to do this shit do it at like 2am on a Tuesday morning or something
