I think I would have pulled over and walked the rest of the stage after that! saw your new car yesterday... VERY nicely put together bit of gear -
No website (currently under construction... I'm my own worst client) I'm a graphic designer out of a little studio here in Melbourne called Simm Design Here are a few pages from my folio that include photography... the first few (ANZ, Monash, EastLink) are using mostly stock library imagery, whilst the hotel stuff and Canninvale towels were shot by Earl Carter, who is a top notch shooter down here in Melbs Also includes a website I did for Stuart Crossett who does some pretty cool advertising photography, check him out at stuartcrossett.com.au I have also put in a couple of corporate IDs I've done for smaller businesses, no imagery there Finally there is a page with some of my photography... I'm no pro its just a hobby! Okay I think I've spammed your thread enough now! back to posting cool photos

little shell toes! yeeeeeeeeeeeah being a photographers apprentice is easy these days, no film to worry about... just take a light reading and chat up the models hahaha actually wedding photography is a good little earner... one of the guys we use also does weddings, works nearly every weekend at 3K a pop! he's very good though... to think I did design because I was told there's no money in photography...

yeah rarely hear anything good about heathcote... amazing you get that thing down the quarter as well as you do with its fat stance... if you raised it up I'd cry!
-
yep realised that after I had done it (didn't help that I didn't read the post properly)... just jumping in a thread messing with someones work isn't the best idea! anyhoo as someone who employs pro photographers all the time there is some really great work in this thread... sidd shoots people really well, which is harder than it looks

yeah sorry I thought you were saying the video guys floodlight was giving that look and you weren't happy with it... lol I'm bored today so was looking for excuses to slack off... I'm a graphic designer so I'm always messing with photographers work hehe;)

Bnr32 Track Build

yep... could do with a good clean/flush though I've got Trust cooler and radiator in my car and for the life of me I can't see the difference between it and a standard setup... in fact I reckon mine runs hotter due to the massive cooler blocking airflow to the rad -
fair enough! ...your stuff is great BTW:)

to give that old world feel better to convert to black and white and then warm it, similar to a sepia tone... or simply take the colour shot and desaturate it... that last shot has too much yellow from the artificial light IMHO

traction problems? you should be running a low 12 high 11 with that power;)

curves in photoshop can help a bit... not perfect but better

Bnr32 Track Build
NickR33 replied to Kaido_RR's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
well I just learnt something today! thanks for that maybe it was just the super high spring rate that was the real problem... over rough surfaces the rear would pogo and skip making it scary to be really committed mid corner just to have the car hit a bump and step sideways I wouldn't describe it as having 'traction problems' comparing to a RWD its excellent but I feel it could be better if there was a little more in the way of weight transfer from standing start I would rather have a softer spring in the rear and a stiffer bar to help the understeer... 11kg/mm springs in the rear of a 600hp GTR WOT over rough surfaces is a bit scary to be honest... but maybe I'm just a little girl -

some numbnuts did this to my car... Chris just pulled the Teins out to get rebuilt and the springs were 10F 11R... no wonder the rear just wouldn't settle over rough surfaces... going with a softer rate front and rear now so should put the power down better... must have been a mistake when the original owner ordered them, can't see anyone in their right mind doing that on purpose! -
Silverstone, Ring, Monza And Spa In 8 Days
NickR33 replied to Roy's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
makes you appreciate how easy Albert Park is to get to... I've spoken to a few pom F1 fanatics who come over for the Aussie grand prix and reckon its the best location anywhere in the world thanks for sharing Roy, pity things didn't go completely smooth but at least you have some interesting stories! I spotted this Intergrale in Italy... don't put stickers all over a classic noooooo... love these cars, dad has always had Lancias so I have soft spot for them -
34 Brembos are exactly the same as 33 Brembos... just a different colour... I had them on my old GTSt... nice brakes but there are better options for pulling up a GTR a price is pretty moot here anyway as he's planning on swapping for his M3... I say if you like it go for it, its a nicely put together 32R and I'm sure it will be significantly quicker than the M3;)

hey Roy try playing the footage using VLC (its a media player you can download)... its sometimes good at playing buggy files... its a long shot but might be worth a try -
I know, thanks for the history lesson;)

don't be so selfish, some of us are at work you know! -
N1 motor is a good buy however I would take a built motor with oil control taken care of over a N1 any day... Glaze call Chris at racepace and see if he has any customers with 32 GTRs who might want to sell, I reckon you can do better than that personally... its a good buy but not at 35K just for perspective, I would consider selling my 33 GTR for 35K if someone approached me with cash in hand my R has fully built motor by racepace with all their secret squirrel oil control mods etc, including all Tomei gear in the head for big cams etc etc Trust twin turbo kit, inc FMIC, radiator and oil cooler etc etc... 18" by 10" BBS LM wheels, upgraded Harrop brakes, racepace spec rebuilt Teins, etc etc makes 360kw at the wheels and a bunch of other parts that I won't bother to list... its also factory original paint in absolutely perfect condition (has spent its whole life indoors) and is super straight so... much more to be had for 35K IMHO

My R33 Gtr Daily / Build-up Thread
NickR33 replied to UNR33L's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
I was being followed by a mate in his Lexus when I overtook a slow moving car... I gave it more of a boot than I really needed and as I jumped back off the gas a big flame/smoke cloud shot out... I didn't realise but a cop car was behind my mate... what happened? My mate got pulled over... lol... when the cop came to his door to RBT him he actually says to the guy what about the Skyline shooting the flame ball, why didn't you pull him over... cop just replied 'you were closer'... gotta love laziness hahaha
