I think there is a problem with the way the warnings are given, people should not be staying to defend their houses in this type of fire... total evacuation far enough ahead of time to get people out... I understand the fires were moving very quickly but surely we have seen enough bad fires to know to grab a few things and leave as soon as you are told RIP

yep pity about the spur being a no go... we have close family friends in Kinglake but luckily they were in Lorne at the time... still waiting to hear if they lost their house heading to the meet point Sun morning I had no idea about the fires... spent all Sat moving into new place and hadn't hooked the tv up yet cruise was good for making it up as you go and a bit of a downpour etc... at least in the rain I was able to test out the 4wd... it works:)

lol spotted a gorgeous gray Gallardo Superleggera in Jam Factory car park... I agree with Clarkson, I would take one over a Porsche or Ferrari anyday... so who's giving me one!

my Mrs got laid off 5 days before christmas... she was TV producer at an Ad agency who have Holden as one of their major clients... she hadn't been there for 12 months yet so was cheap to get rid of however she already has 3 offers, so the economy can't be that bad... yet...

depends on how low the car is, how much negative camber your running and how stretched the tires are... see my for sale in my sig there is a pic of them on my GTSt... I reckon they fit perfect, perhaps a little outside the guards on the rear but with a 235 wide tire all round they are good to go for your info I've got about .5º neg camber on the rear and about 1.4º neg on the front... guards aren't modified but the rears do rub a bit when going over bumps... stiffer suspension or rolling back of the inner guard lip will solve this

Thanks Jack, yep very happy with it I won't be changing anything for the time being, its not like the car is super laggy, it still has a pretty brutal 4,000rpm powerband... just food for thought... the little surge of torque that ball bearing turbos have as they're coming on boost is nice
