anyone played with the adjustable wing on 33GTR's? mine seems to be adjusted with quite a lot of angle... don't know if it would be all that necessary as corner exit grip is where GTR's shine so they are really just there for high speed stability?

Hey Ash how do the -5's compare to the Trust T517Z 8cms? I know ball bearing is the way to go but wondering if the difference is worth the cash outlay? The -5's would probably come on earlier and make more power hey?

lol it wasn't that dark! and she said sorry... and then proceeded to keep playing right next to us, even though there was heaps of space to play with no people I could have slept the whole night on the beach... it would have been better than the sauna we went home too

when you go to the beach at 9:30 pm to get out of the hot ass apartment... end up falling asleep and are woken at 11pm when somebody hits your gf with a frisbee they are playing with in the dark...

IQ is a must as a lot of stuff will pop up at odd times... but there is plenty to keep you interested I was watching the American D1 the other day and wow... those are some big budget cars these days, lots of turbo V8's with insane power

(all the airflow under, none over) I'm fairly certain I understand how wings work;) the high/low pressure is caused by the difference in speed the air passes by each side of the wing due to its shape yeah it would have been better on an S14 Dane, not perfect cos the air would have been pretty turbulent

Dane I'm not sure how effective the wing pictured (your old one) would be... the airflow over the back of the 180 would probably stay attached to the car until the very edge of the boot meaning no real flow over the wing (mostly under)... however if the wing was mounted higher than the roof it would catch the unattached airflow over the car most serious circuit cars have the wing high up above the roofline of the car for this reason... Edit: ah beat me to the punch re. height kingscorp!

nah not for a car with big cams that idles around 1000rpm... really thick FMIC and alloy radiator don't help either, it needs plenty of airflow so putting around in traffic doesn't help when you see 110º+ water temp its time to worry... what temp does coolant boil at, anyone know? now an Evo tuned to run 98 running 91 on a 40º day, that sounds unhealthy lol

haha yep! I'm moving to Brighton with the gf... Prahran is too full of fark ups... the last straw was the junky shooting up outside our apartment at 8:30 in the morning with his chick standing there twitching, drooling and staring at the needle like a fat person looks at a donut... was gross and in full view of everyone, could have just ducked into one of the garages there but no... moving to Well street, between middle brighton station and the beach... yuppy style lol

just had to take a 15min trip in the GTR... water temp went from 60º to 93º in about 10 minutes lol... stabilized at 93º tho... and that's with no air con on and keeping completely off boost!

awesome post, loving those cars! only way to tell is to test drive each, no way of knowing how you will feel without sitting in the drivers seat looks wise I'm not sure about the new 370Z... its almost like they are trying too hard now but I will reserve judgment until I see one in the flesh

ouch... I know that sound all too well;) many things can kill the big ends, from contaminated oil to detonation to oil starvation... make sure your builder finds out the cause before he puts it all back together otherwise you could have the same problem again price all depends on what's going in and how much work is being done... could be a terrible quote or a great one good luck
