  1. I run the Cusco RS 2 way... daily driven and it does carry on a bit, clunking and skipping but if you adjust your driving style a bit its not a problem (coast round corners off the throttle)... I believe its a little more street friendly than the MZ as it has springs to absorb the shocks but I have never been in a car running the MZ so I will have to take Cuscos word for it... understeer and wet weather driving aren't a problem, but I run good tires and I wouldn't be so confident on yum chas... very predictable diff, makes the car heaps easier to drive than the stocker which would sometimes lock... sometimes not... Nismo, Cusco, Kaaz... I don't think there is much difference although I have heard lots of good things about the Tomei series but don't have any first hand experience for you
  2. no worries... I think 2 are at my place and 2 at my parents but can't remember where the good one is... I'll have a look over the weekend and pull the best one out for you
  3. yeah thats 'funny' alright... what a wanker, did they stop? I have a set of R34 GTT wheels at home if you want a spare one?... I never sold them as they are really gutter rashed but I think there is at least one rash free one... even got some spare centre caps if you need?
  4. I've been driving around on a bent front rim for over 12 months lol... I bent it on a ripple strip at Sandown but have been too lazy to get it fixed... mostly annoying rather than dangerous... that being said I believe it's a fairly easy, inexpensive fix... they just roll the cast wheel til its round again... forged aren't as easy as they tend to crack... or so I have been told so... group buy on wheel straightening...
  5. Don't eat any large reef fish! I just got back from the Cook Islands where I got stung with fish poisoning and was out of action for 5 days... I don't think its a danger it Thailand but better safe than sorry I reckon... it sucks back on topic... have fun! my GF parents are over there at the moment and having a ball
  6. Is it back on the road Al!? looking good, man it must be nice to have it all sorted... you will have to take me for a spin
  7. nice work guys! I was keen on this but was away so never put my hand up... maybe next time great effort getting the cars to run the full day, no easy task especially with the dattos... I gotta learn how to fix my own car one of these days, I really do suck with a spanner good pics Jarrod, love the one with the Jag and GT40 coming over the hill
  8. just got back from holidays and saw this... definately keen just have to talk to ben and see if I can't get a few issues sorted before the 20th... woot been too long between skids!
  9. damn... busted sneaking home on my lunch break... I didn't have a beer and watch tv before going back to work... honest
  10. I'm amazed you can get a highflow over 250rwkw... I just don't believe 'you can take it to 280 if need be'... bigger wheels are fine but its still gotta get through that exhaust housing... mine was causing a restriction at anything over 6,000rpm at 190rwkw... I don't believe they can 'highflow' it to run another 80rwkw when the physical size is the main restriction...
  11. ah yeah that would have been me... been a few years since I have left it on the street tho... might have been when the car port was getting work done on it Ps. I have wasted the better part of day on this... can I put 'looking at google map street view' on my time sheets?
  12. this guy didn't see the Google van coming! I would have zoomed it in but... eew Oh and a piccie of the hooker I was on about
  13. I don't think so as mine is always in the office car park and you can't see it from the street....... I'm up the St Kilda Rd end BTW
  14. Okay so I was looking at my work and decided to have an explore further down my street (Vale St)... look at the corner of Vale St and Greeves St...where the hookers stand... now that is funny lol
  15. you meant lowered right Less restriction = less boost Less restriction = more airflow (and more airflow makes more power!)
  16. no I'm not sure... I'm at work so don't have the sound on... I just searched R33 + 20B as I remembered seeing a video like that... nice burnout nonetheless
  17. see video of R33 GTSt with a 20B in it... Also 350Z with 20B... I would go V8 rather than rotary... swore to myself that if I destroyed the RB again it would be Nissan V8 time... with a big SC:)
  18. bastard, leave us all in the cold then... well except I'm off to the cook islands for a couple of weeks... not quite Europe tho:( please bring me back some space cakes... you can hide them in your vagina
  19. just wear gloves or something... the carbon fibre makes your skin itch something chronic
  20. I used to go to Swinburne Prahran... ah good times... trying to find a park for the '78 Benz tank with faded paint and rust holes in the floor was always fun... especially when they bulldozed our carpark to build the circus school! I mean why do you need a school to teach you how to have dreadlocks and collect the dole...
  21. damn, looked out of the window early on Sunday and decided it was going to be too wet... which was really just an excuse to roll over and go back to sleep... which clearly was a mistake cos that looked like fun! nice videos, pity about not seeing the flags but you still get the idea Oh well at least if I was in bed I couldn't break my car again
  22. you really don't like using the net hey;) Rampant Performance Imports Factory 15, 100 New Street Ringwood VIC 3134 03 9879 7799 HOURS: M-F 8am - 6pm Sat: 9am-12pm
  23. haha nice Blitz Greenline and Nengun usually don't have what you want in stock either, they order it direct from the manufacturer and then send it to Aus If you know exactly what you want and don't need it in a hurry some $$ can be saved by ordering from Japan... but nothing beats actually being able to see/touch the parts in question so I agree it's a good way to go There are also a number of online shops that are sponsors of this site, I have used a few of them and have been very happy Just whatever you do stay away from the yum cha brands at Autobarn and the like... best advice is to buy quality parts even if you have to spend a little more and be wary of 2nd hand items... even rims... I have gotten rims that look straight but once you take them up to 100km/h its shaking like an ice feind after a week long bender good luck:)
  24. thinking of entering this too... is there a drivers briefing or do you just have to rock up and pay before 10am? Class E for me I think... is there usually anyone else in class E!? Assuming these will be much tighter/technical than the DECA stuff... should be interesting
  25. yep... close but not too close lol I know all about friends treating your place like a bar, we have 2 spare bins we use just for bottles and they're always full... also apparently we are the only place you can smoke while you drink so people like taking advantage of that too... we do have a 2am lockout tho, that is if still here at 2am we kick you out and lock the door! lol
