Yeah I love his writing, read a couple of his books and I agree he's actually quite intelligent... but much of what he does is purely for entertainment so I would be careful believing every opinion he has without doing your own research

does it matter which episode? your going to DL them all anyway... or at least I know I am! Loved the first episode of season 11... go TG! Oh yeah, the GTR... does anyone take what Clarckson has to say seriously!? he entertains the shit out of me but I would never buy or not buy a car based on his review

I run the RT615's as a daily tire, on my 2nd set... they grip damn well with 190rwkw but i have NFI if they will hold 400rwkw... my guess would be anything less than a full slick will have you wheel spinning! I like them because of the stiff sidewall, it makes it much nicer/predictable to corner but they aren't the best for straight line stuff... good in the wet, very quiet and pretty hard wearing compared to full semi comps if you have spent the money to make the power you may as well spend some more to put it to the ground... no point cheaping out for tires now... I would get a set off the R888's as Cubes suggested

Mate you should be able to get a Bravia 40" LCD from JB for about 2 grand now... I got mine for about $2,300 earlier this year so they should have come down in price since then... Go Samsung or Sony for LCD, don't bother with yum cha brands IMHO In fact Harvey Norman have good deals too... my brother in law just got a 46" (bastard had to go bigger than me hehe) for a steal, almost the same price I paid for mine I wouldn't buy a tv off the net, too hard to get it fixed/replaced if its faulty

ditto... I want, I want! seriously this would be cheaper than painting the car and if you decided down the track you didn't like it you could just go back to the original paint... it would protect it too! the satin black GTR looks badass, I love it

you can have my stock diff centre for $200 if you come pick it up... I have a Cusco one now... I changed it because of its habit of single spinning... but it was smooth, no clunks or anything

why anyone tracking there R32GTSt would want to ditch there RB20 is beyond me... for the price of a rebuild on a 25 you could buy 10 x RB20's and have them sitting in the shed as spares... blow one, just grab another... yes, I'm jealous well I'm posting in this thread may as well put up a pic of the crapbox... currently sitting in the garage with a blown turbo... HKS 2835 is in the mail gotta use all the road on those corner exits...

Also editing with 'Curves' allows you to adjust the colour balance within an image... very useful and much better than using the 'colour balance' sliders... good for when you have been shooting inside with artificial lighting, take out some red (or magenta if you are going CMYK) ps. probably should mention you can edit colour balance within 'Levels' but Curves gives you more control IMO

he is lucky IMO... once upon a time he would have been taken out the back and had a lot more done to him than a bit of a boot in the butt

geez that exhaust looks mint and very sensible, can't believe its still 93db:(... only option would be to go larger with both mufflers but it looks like there isn't anymore room if you put a restriction further up the exhaust away from the tip (and the tester) that may help... like changing the straight through muffler after the cat to a baffled type? that would restrict performance tho I would assume

sold the 2535 a while ago (to help fund rebuild)... probably go to a 2835 now... have try and keep up with the dattos! I almost cried seeing the lovely silver 32 with damage on it:(

well said Snowy That's all I was hoping for, a day of having fun lapping and sliding around but no... blew the turbo on lap 3 of the practice session... slowly drove it home in the left hand lane, with my hazards on and it making the most horrible sounds known to man... you would be amazed how many people would sit behind me or pull up next to me and tell me I had my hazards on, like I didn't know! Congrats to those guys who got PBs... to do it on a track with little grip is an impressive effort... did the track get better later in the day, heat up at all?

I had a 360 fixed by some computer guys at South Melbourne market... they cut a dirty great hole in the side and bolted a fan to it... it worked like a dream... and then died again 2 days later got a PS3 now... sooo quiet you barely know its on and you don't have to take the disks out with oven mitts on! clearly the better made console... but it took me 3 (if you count the repair) 360's to come over to the dark side

It would be a comfortable lap tho! (but you might get sea sick) hrm I should just bite the bullet and throw on some (proper) semis but I don't reckon I have enough killer wasps to hang with the mod rwd guys up the straights... I would get owned... more than usual!

that's why with a drag setup you would run some positive camber at the rear
