  1. I got mine through Darron @ JustJap... they were on back order so it took a few weeks ps. they don't make the 8.5L for the RB25... you will need it made custom... I have the 6.5L and Al on here has a 7L but his was fouling on the swaybar... 8.5L would be a stretch I reckon EDIT: just realised your 25 is in an S13... you will have even less room for a big sump
  2. if there is going to be Tshirts and stickers you guys need help with the logo... i will send a pm
  3. the bonnet has nothing to do with crumple zones or any accident stuff it is just a lid to stop water getting on your motor so you may change it for carbon or fibreglass... providing it doesn't have any 'protrusions' like vents etc that may stop a pedestrian from rolling over the bonnet in the case of an accident this is what I have been told by someone who does roadworthies for a living... but I can still imagine you copping grief from the boys in blue... depending on where you live
  4. you would have one tight bumhole going around sandown in that thing... that's scary fast
  5. cool that means the Azenis and Federals are back in Clubsprint class... which means you can run street tires that have a nice stiff sidewall and won't be destroyed after one track day:)
  6. concerning the tire listings for Club class> just a heads up there is a listing for the Falken RT 215 but no RT 615 which has replaced the 215... that being said, they aren't really a R rated tire... neither are the Federal 595RS when is Superlap coming down to Mexico!
  7. try these Gmax rims... I would love a set of the Meister S1 ... but they are very $$$... awesome wheel tho, no bodykit or any other crap needed There is a silver 350Z around the corner from my place with huuuge black TE37's that really fill out the guards with good offset... looks damn fine
  8. sweeeeeet... very nice Al, its going to be quick!
  9. nothing wrong with that, curve looks good... its just a tad rich as you haven't got anything to lean out the mixtures... stock ecu sees more airflow than standard and dumps extra fuel in to be safe... hence the smoke outta the exhaust:)
  10. I'll quote myself in case you missed it... 4.5L? nah go the 5.6 ^^^^ screw the Toyota v8... these things are making 400hp+ with just some cams... and the torque... oh the torque... and the sound of a tuned quad cam V8... oh god
  11. I really badly want to put a VK56 5.6L quad cam V8 from a Nissan Titan truck in my 33...
  12. subscribing to this thread... I want in... I offer sexual favours... oh yes.......... yes I do
  13. hey Ferni I need some rotors, was about to buy some RDA slotted but I reckon these are a better option... will they get me through a couple of track days before they need replacing? who does the replacement disks for them?
  14. don't need spacers to run R34 GTT wheels... but as stated you would be hard pushed to even get a piece of paper in the gap between caliper and rim
  15. were the plates RUN4IT? seen him around my area a lot recently... he likes to give it a boot too:)
  16. hey Ben how come my RB25 graph doesn't look like that!? hehe... retune? hahaha my god that would go like a train... kinda scares me when you think what people will be doing with the new 3.8 in years to come...
  17. I would love to punt a GTR so I could understand what your on about scotsman... alright whos lending me their's first? I find 4wds (have only driven WRX) are harder to drive at 100% because the limit of grip is higher and they seem to let go more aggressively without as much warning... a RWD with decent setup lets you know where the limit is but at the same time allows you to go over it slightly, sliding the car instead of just getting spat into the sand... in my limited seat time in a WRX I found the learning curve much steeper than my own car and 'experiments' that went wrong seemed to be harder to correct... I guess a GTR is the best of both worlds really?
  18. I need a set of front slotted rotors for R34 GTR Brembos... please!
  19. okay so minimum weight is 1740 that's not too bad if you can stay close to it... still I'm wondering how a hard on tires a heavy car like that will be... we'll find out I guess
  20. Ah I see, still didn't look like a massive handful but maybe that was just due to your calm driving, you weren't sawing at the wheel like a madman or anything just very precise... made it look too easy! except for a couple of moments under braking, they looked pretty scary... brake bias issue or just the rear skipping over the bumps as it unloads? ps. I love the sound your car makes
  21. how apt the new GTR has donut sponsorship on it... its a fat bastard! lol on a serious note how much (if any) weight have you stripped outta the thing?
  22. it doesn't look too badly setup, maybe just go a bit softer with the rear springs... she is a little taily lol... with more rear grip you should be able to get on it a bit earlier but it certanly turns in well... nice driving:)
  23. woah brown undies moment as that car spun in front of you ryan? I have never been around winton... looks like fun:)
  24. I gotta agree with you there Roy... lose the evo x (bleh) and add some TVR goodness... and anything made by RUF is supercool... a little bit of pee may have just come out while thinking about that Sagaris glad to see the Alfa 8C is there... but it should have its own board... on plastic... as it would be covered by man milk in no time... I would actually take one over the new GTR, yes you may now flame me
