  1. here's my 33... had to get the bugs cleaned off after a trip to NSW so thought I better take some pics before its dirty again
  2. yep, stand comes too I'm in Prahran see pic below, its still on the dash at the moment
  3. fair enough and I'm not saying that you weren't unlucky or haven't learnt from your mistake, I think you probably have... but I also think you were a bit quick to criticize in that other thread when you didn't know the whole story (I'm not defending them, I happen to agree with you) so you can't be too mad at the cop who pulled you over, he didn't know your whole story either... and from his perspective it looks pretty bad... I would have thrown a few choice words your way too good luck with it all, hope you don't lose it for too long, its definately painful being lineless
  4. I have a SAFC2... black screen, white read out, limited edition version... still plugged in the car but running a power fc now can take pics if you are keen or you can come look at it running etc... $250
  5. maybe next time you shouldn't get on your moral high horse too early... "Look my condolences go out to the families but lets be honest according to all reports the were exceeding the speed limits by around 50km/h no matter what happens at those speeds there's always a danger and anyone doing that with 4 other people in the car doesnt have any regard for human life.. Im not saying I havent sped before or anything like that but people need to learn... for most young p plate drivers as we all once were. once your in a car your invincible." clearly you didn't learn from reading that thread
  6. a Vantage turned out in front of me in Elsternwick the other day... then proceeded to open the taps in a big way... oh my... it barked so loud at me I almost jumped into the passenger seat... was tempted to mash the pedal and go after him but didn't want to be that big of a tool... could still hear him get on it about 3 blocks away too... n/a cars just sound soooo nice
  7. a bit O/T but I was watching ESPN the other night and they were playing the Pump Gas Drags from somewhere in the US... interesting event, basically you rocked up with your drag machine (street registered) and had all your fuel siphoned out and replaced with bog standard pump fuel (91ron or whatever they have over there) then the most interesting part was you had to participate in a cruise across town in peak hour... you weren't allowed to switch of your car or pop the bonnet during the cruise or you were disqualified from competing in the drag event I mean there were still plenty of tubbed monsters who competed but it was a pretty good attempt at achieving parity without hurting the competitor numbers too much
  8. holy shit... he would hand us our asses at deca! um... interesting braking technique
  9. I'm in then! Even if technically I'm not a women... I've been told I drive like one hehe great thread, well done over there guys!!!
  10. yeah BBQ was awesome, top snags Scotsman! I should have parked the car but everyone else's was soooo clean I was embarrassed at the state of mine! I agree SAU is a friendly club but its hard to know new members by face etc so you do have to make an effort to introduce yourself around if your new... I've been hanging around for a few years and there are still lots of people I haven't spoken to or don't know their names but that's just through laziness more than anything else lastly I was only there about an hour and managed to burn my head... going bald in your twenties FTL! ... stupid thing was I still had the sombrero from Tacos in the boot hehe
  11. don't remember exactly how much I paid but it was over $300 sorry guys forgot to update, they are now sold!
  12. damn I love this pic... so much anger Bigbird!

  15. hello all, I have a used pair of RDA gold anodized slotted/dimpled rotors here... taken off the car when I changed the brakes They must have only done about 5,000kms, pics below I'm in Melb. $150 Cheers, Nick
  16. haha yeah that was fun last time! (in a dirty undies kind of way) ... glad I managed to keep it straight over there this time... holding it flat over the mini wang crest FTW!!!
  17. West don't think that was me mate, I'm nowhere near athletic enough for back flips! I was the guy who accidentally hosed your car with stones on the mini wang (you were lined up behind me)... sorry bout that:/
  18. another top DECA, big thanks to all those who stood out in the sun for us... sorry we piked after Tacos but I was farked... another corona and I was going to be asleep in the corner under my sombrero if anyone has any photos or footage to send my way please do! we accidentally left the camera at home... again:(
  19. I'm looking forward to hearing that car!
  20. alright who was it that punted their R8 past me on Carlisle st yesterday... I know your out there, stop making me jealous... it was my first R8 experience ......even though it was this shithouse light metallic blue colour..... I'd still hit it
  21. hasn't that sold yet! man at 9g that's a good buy... I really want to swap all my running gear over into a 32... hmmm oh and just say no to white cars;)
  22. No ABS... ABS is for wimps;) j/k both front and rear changed... master cylinder not changed you will be surprised if they are more consistent than the sumitomos? how come? at the end of the day they are designed to stop a 200kg heavier car than mine so I still believe they are an upgrade... whether they are worth the $$$ well that's another discussion:)
  23. okay thought I would add my 2c as I have just done this upgrade... they are definately a stronger brake package over the standard sumitomos, not that you would ever know about it driving around town but when you really get stuck into the anchors they are much more linear and have a far superior feel which means they are easier to control at the edge of lock up... haven't been on track with them yet to test out durability but the stock stuff was pretty tough with good pads and fluid so expecting even better consistency strangely they do seem to stand the car on its nose more under hard braking, I don't know why this would be the case? different bias? maybe I'm just dreaming it... ps. peformance aside... they look horn... get the 34 ones, mmm gold
