  1. very nice R32 but unfortunately not what im looking for. Still on the hunt for mechanically modified late model 93-94 gunmetal gray R32 GTR, stock clean body and interior (or close too)
  2. Thanks Dave but thats a little more modified then what im looking for and a little out of my price range but not too far off it, 400kw from a stock motor >.<
  3. Hi everyone My R32 GTR was stolen a few months ago and now that i have my finances sorted i'm looking to replace it, I'm in no hurry to buy just looking for the right one its not very often you get a second go at buying your dream car. I'm a genuine buyer looking for a late model (93,94) clean R32 GTR in Victoria, preferably in Gunmetal Gray but will consider other colours. Body must be clean and stock (no over the top body kits) open to all modifications but car must come with RWC. Not looking for a "bargin 15k" or "Collectors Vspec/aussie delivered 30k+" GTR but something inbetween. The market does seem slow (for sellers) and i have already had a look through the forums and inspected a few cars and as nice as they were didn't tick all my boxes. So if you are selling, know anyone selling or thinking of selling and has what I'm looking for please PM me. Cheers, James.
  4. I low balled a bunch of gtr owners offering 15k and they wouldn't sell. I wouldn't bother with a gtr if you can only scrape together 15k, have you thought about maintenance, repairs, fuel and insurance costs? better off sticking to gtst's and gtt's, pick up a nice one for that kind of money and much cheaper to run
  5. Just wonder if anyone know if r33gtst (series 2) wheels will fit on an r32 gtr? Obviously the stud pattern is the same just wondering if it will fit over the brakes, i assume it does seeing as both cars have 4 pots up front but assumption is the mother of all F*** ups. Getting my wheels sprayed and a mate has a spare set of gtst wheels, i know i will have to pull the fuse if i want to use them due to the rolling diameter difference. Cheers
  6. It has always blown fuel clouds but since ive noticed the fuel pump noise i havent seen it do it. Nar its not paranoia (i know the feeling though) my friend who has been in the car many times before asked about the loud whining noise too.
  7. Hey everyone About a week ago i ran my tank very low on fuel (3-4litres left), it would start turn over for a bit then die but eventually the tank/pump regained pressure and it started (has happened once before but car never started) . Didn't really notice until sunday that the pump (bosch 040) was whining even louder then normal. Doesn't seem to have effected performance (no pinging, surging or power drop) but the car doesnt build up much carbin, i never give it a boot full until the oil temp lifts off the stop 60-70deg then when i do a lot of built up carbin spews out the exhaust at the moment almost nothing comes out. When its just warming up in the morning it doesnt seem to produce as much fumes either. Is the fuel pump on its way out? has anyone had something similar happen to them? should i just replace it to be safe? Any help would be appreciated cheers
  8. Need to buy an r32gtr stock airbox/intake Need it for roadworthy Will pick up anywhere in Melbourne, if anyone could help me out that would be great. Cheers
  9. Hmm well i live in st kilda/caulfield area so that is quite far
  10. Hey mate interested in the wheel, two question does it come with the boss kit or is it just the wheel and where abouts in melbourne are you?
  11. thanks ross but ive found someone through a mate work that is able to lend me one, maybe ill take you up on the offer next time i get defected
  12. Hey All I got defected last night for ride height because my exhaust hangs too low, i was wondering If anyone would be kind enough to lend me a stock exhaust for a week or so i can get a roady done and take my car down to vic roads. I will pick it up anywhere in melbourne. I work at a dealership as an apprentice mechanic and the guy who signs the road worthies at our work gave it the all clear if i put a stock exhaust on. my car has stock dump Pipes so it will bolt straight up. If all goes to plan i could return the exhaust hopefully by the weekend. If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
  13. Hey mate Where are you located? How many Kms have the turbos done? How much shaft play is there? Cheers
  14. Looking to buy a set of Black LMGT4's 18x9.5 +12 or +22 ofset (I forget which one fits gtrs) to fit a R32 GTR. Rims must be BLACK I'll pick them up anywhere in Melbourne. Anyone who could help me out with this it would be much appreciated, cheers.
  15. Just wonder what the maximum power the stock R32 GTR Gear box and 4WD system can handle? I've heard the 32 box isn't very strong.
  16. As said above only GTR's come with 4WD and an RB26(2.6L twin turbo inline6) The GTS-4 have the same 4WD system but only have an RB20(2L single turbo Inline6). GT/GT-T/GTS/GTS-T are all RWD with RB20 or RB25.
  17. 14k Holy crap! someone snap this up! awesome car gl with the sale
  18. Hey everyone, had my R32 GTR for a few months and ive decided to upgrade turbos. Now before everyone starts telling me to go look at the RB26 turbo upgrade section i already have and it didn't really answer my questions about what to choose. Current turbos are rebuild stock turbos with steel wheels (possibly only exhaust wheel is steel and intake is ceramic) and they have been hi flowed. They 360drg thrust bearing (not ball bearing), Turbos came with the car the previous owner got the turbos done. All Supporting mods are fitted aswell as adjustable cam gears(according to previous owner tuned for response) and cold air intake with head shield. Car runs @18psi, reason for upgrade is i want better response. Car pulls nicely from about 3800rpm but doesnt make full boost until about 4700-5000rpm (rev limit deduced to 7500). Not looking for any extra power car makes 280kw and i dont want to take the stock motor much further. All im looking for is the turbos that will come on tap as early as possible and also maintain torque and power throughout the rev range. Currently torque drops away at 4000rpm from 480nm to 350 by rev limit. These 4 sets of ball bearing turbos in the title seem to be the most popular for what i want out of them, how much of a reduction in spool time should i expect to see with ball bearing turbos? which ones would everyone recommend for everyday driving @18psi? Is it worth replacing the stock dump pipes for full 3" ones? If i need to give any more information tell me and ill answer best i can.
  19. That is a sick looking GTR, free bump.
  20. Never mind, had air in the lines causing the steering to play up.
  21. Was driving my r32 gtr just before and as i was rolling up to the light (car not in gear traveling at 2-3kmh) i lost all steering! The steering wheel pulled hard down to the right. After a moment of panic and a few seconds of wtf is going on i engaged the gear and the steering returned. i didn't have an issue for the rest of the drive (20-30mins). Anyone have this happen to them or have any ideas what may cause this? I'm going to put the car up on the hoist at work tomorrow but thought id ask here first for any opinions
  22. The pleasure was all mine believe me haha:). Taken a few mates for a ride and everyone reacts the same way "F@#KEN HELL!!".
