Congrats. 1. Rev limiter is at red line unless it has been changed in a aftermarket ECU or BeeR* Rev limiter. It is probably running a safe mode map. 2. Not sure 3. even if the boost controller is connected it may not be working correctly. Normally when idling it should be -18 or something like that depending on what the unit of measurement is. Although the std. vacuum gauges are crap i take it that it reads well into the negative unlike the boost controller? Are you running std. ECU? So it literally cannot go above 5k rpm in second and above? Is the car idling ok?

So whats the cost of a second hand engine compared to all the goodies hanging off a pre-built car? I'll tell you, it's a lot of time and money. Unless as stated you were looking to get your hands dirty + know some people who can help with stuff (cheap parts, cheap tuning, etc). Look either way, TAKE YOUR TIME and at least get it checked over by a mechanic you trust who knows these types of cars or at least RAA, etc with compression test and anything else they can check. GL

More lag, about 20-30Kw gain with standard ecu. Did alter drivability for me, only because before the FMIC was installed i was very happy with near instant spool with just pod and full turbo back exhaust. GL

Basically a CAS can be a Cam/Crank Angle Sensor it is used to know where the Cam/Crank is during it's rotation + speed. If its not working properly the motor is going to run like sh*t. EDIT: have a read. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crank_sensor

How hard do you drive it and how long? Do you participate in drift/track days? On boost for long periods of time? Ceramic Coat, FTW!
