  1. Crikey.....I do prefer the look of my investment cast 8374 housing, however I am concidering going to a 1.06a/r rear in the future:(. Oh well, if it doesn't hurt performance, so be it.
  2. Hi Paul, Can you tell me what Mark controls with in the 4x4 controller with the steering wheel paddles?
  3. Awesome pics Andrew, Cheers that should make the install much easier for me!
  4. Cheers, I'm not too keen on cutting the factory loom at this stage, Will have a think on it.
  5. Can you let me know a price sent to Christchurch, NZ please for a R32 GT-R one.(Not sure if they differ between models)
  6. Does anyone make a better/new coil pack loom with the factory plugs?
  7. Cheers Lith, Yeah I don't come on here often enough haha! The cams were set up more for response when it became obvious we couldn't get any more boost through the IWG. With the way my turbo makes it's power, and it's limited hotside size (Yet to be proven is the problem) I think I could have got away with a set of 270deg cams and probably made better response again, But I think later down the track I will end up going with the twin EWG 1.05a/r hotside on the EFR, so they will be better suited for that I think. .....But for now I just want to get it on the road!
  8. I bought a set of Kelford 280 10.55mm lift cams, They do them as an off the shelf item. My turbo isn't anywhere are big as yours (B/W EFR 8374 .91a/r) and make 460kw at the hubs, full boost (20psi) at 3400rpm, it is a RB30 however.
  9. It's alright.....they're blaming Dingo again....
  10. Paul, You talk about the Digital G-Sensors not being any faster, But what about accuracy? Due to the "Weighted Fingers" in the standard Analog G-Sensor being able to wander around with bumps etc, surely the Digital version should give a better signal? You talk about speed....Can you see any way that the speed can be increased in the factory pump system, I see this as being the biggest limiting factor in the GT-R in track form compared to the Evo.... Also have you given any thought on picking up the signals from the ABS wheel sensors to shift load?
  11. Have a look on his website Shoota, It's all digital display/adjustment http://www.topsecret.net.au/ruzicengineering/ATTESA_Controller_II.html
  12. Hi Paul, I couldn't find anywhere to put this, Hopefully you will read this. I have one of your #1 4x4 Controllers in my car, Other than the GPS function to plot corners on the track, What are the differences between the new #2 controller and the older #1 unit I have? Am I going to notice the difference between the two? Thanks.
  13. I have 18x10.5 15et wheels on my R32 GTR, Short of running stupid stretched 245's I couldn't stretch the gaurds enough to fit. I ended up getting the guards pumped to fit 295x30x18s
  14. I bought my tickets, booked my flights out of Shakey Town, and sorted a room at the Cheifley.....can't wait to see the cars up close!
  15. No plans at this stage for E85, It is still a street car. If I could get it at the pump I would change. What are they saying about the Forge W/G? Would be interested to hear?
  16. Hi, Lith posted up my prelimiary tune graphs, Thought I would jump in here. Well I'm pretty happy with the results of my EFR8374 so far, If I can get rid of some of the back pressure issues we are having we should be able to dial it up a bit more. I have just got one of the Forge Motorsports Dual Port W/G's to try, Going dual port is generally recomended when high back pressure is a issue (We are struggling to keep the WG flap closed past 20psi), But if we dial up to 25ish psi we should get close if not on 500kw at the wheels on pump gas. I'm yet to drive the car (It's at the body shop getting the guards pumped) but going from what the tuner has commented on it.....It should be awesome fun!
  17. This sounds like it has been a stressful and expensive time for all three parties involved, I hope the new set work out for you John, I can understand you being on the end of your tether.....I struggled waiting the nine months for it to arrive, and your story is compounded by a factor of 50! As you said in previous posts they are the turbos to have, and being that they spool as quick or quicker than a -5 but give -10 power is proof of it. I can also sympathize with Full-Race and Borg Warner, They never wanted this to happen, And no company certainly wants bad press for their products.....I'm guessing now BW have really upped the "over shoulder watching" from their contractors after the problems with the exhaust housings, and now the exhaust wheels. How about a bit of a whip round lads? Post your PayPal details John.
  18. Thanks for the heads up John....Sounds like a bit of shit run! I hope the guys from BW get it sorted for you. I don't have a lot of choices now, I will just have to run with it and hope it's all good. Fingers crossed mine will be fine with the new wheels as Brett says, At least it's easy for me to unbolt I must admit I won't be happy if it fails after waiting this long....I will just have to pray to the turbo gods. NZEFI are tuning it
  19. I will only be running 98 pump gas, So will depend on what the tuner manages to get out of it....Hopefully Lots! I will change to E85 when it becomes available at the pump. ....Oh and the RacePak IQ3 digital dash turned up today! It's like Christmas!
  20. Well............. The Mythical White Elephant arrived today!! 9.5mths, It's been longer than making babies! Serial number #13.....Hope it's lucky for me! Thanks again to the guys at Full-Race (Geoff,Raffi,Brett,Aaron) for putting up with my constant emails, Just got to wait for the manifold to be finished, and some pipework to be built....Then it's tuning time!
  21. Yes they have a setable odometer, fine for street legal (at least in NZ)
  22. Yes...It's been on life support for almost a year I will have to wait for the manifold to be finished, as it has just been tacked at the moment to check for fitment, as the BW EFR is a bit different in shape, Then I'll get the manifold and the EFR's exhaust housing HPC coated, and probably the front pipe too. ....Oh and I have a RacePak IQ3 dash coming for it too....
  23. ...I have, And there is nothing from you? scratch that
