WTB - R32 Nismo front camber top plates Hi all, I'm after a set of R32 Nismo front top camber plates, these are the bits that hold the front suspension top arm on the chassis. Nismo have some that are in improved pickup points. Don't mind if they are old and crusty or new and shiny. I'm in NZ and happy to pay with PayPal or telegraph transfer....what ever suits. Cheers, Chris

Ikeya Formula - pillow ball part numbers? - Minebea? Hi Guys,I'm looking to fit front and rear Ikeya Formula arms on the car......only if the rod ends that they use are TFE lined (Teflon) as this is what is required for pillow ball rods in NZ for certification.I'm guessing they use Eminebea pillow balls?......I can't seem to get a conclusive answer out of any suppliers, and have found anything when I google them.......don't want to buy them to find they are illegal to use, and the Cert guy wants to know part numbers of the pillow balls as the likes of Eminebea supply radial load ratings.Cheers.

I've just taken a 600x300x100 Trust/Greedy tube and fin intercooler out of the car as it is just not doing a good enough job at 500kw at the wheels.....it was just making too high temps on the intake.

That kit above just looks messy, you have to change the plugs or use adaptors and the ballast delete looks cheap. The Bosch 1000cc injector has as good a spray pattern than the 560cc injectors from an R35 and is just as easy to drive if not better. Headroom for further upgrades, Ethanol compatible, correct plug for the RB26. This is a much better option.

R32 GTR vs R33 GTR Speed Sensor

I'm pretty sure I just bolted it straight in without modifying it. -
R33 Gtr Rear Subframe Into R32 Gtr
Sub Boy32 replied to Nur33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Just bought one for $60 with all the arms and hubs (which I'm guessing I just use my R32 ones in) so will look at making some offset-offset spacers to align everything back to the middle -
R33 Gtr Rear Subframe Into R32 Gtr

Thread dig again. is the R33 GTR subframe the same as the S14 one? -
Offset subframes issue.....anyone got a cure I've got the same problem that a lot of the S-Chassis and R-Chassis suffer from, the subframes on my R32 GT-R cause the wheels to fill the guards differently. I have the left rear wheel sticking out further and the right front wheel out further......it looks odd! i have searched and read everything on the site and there are quite a few people who have the same problem but no one seems to have a cure. i have talked to a few Nissan and alignment specialist and it is quite when you run big offset wheels. Does anyone make an offset subframe bush set for the rear? What about the front.....slot the subframe and machine some inserts? Whiteline make some offset bushes to adjust on the caster and top front camber arms, what about using the offset metal inserts in these with some custom urathane bushes? Any thoughts?

Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0
Sub Boy32 replied to Piggaz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I will be able to let you know in about a month. I have an RB30 with a 8374 (I got one of the first batch of them about five years ago). It was a 0.92 a/r IWG exhaust housing and it made 650hp at all four wheels on pump gas. It did suffer from high back pressure due to the exhaust housing being too small and had issues above 22psi. I have now got a 1.05 EWG exhaust housing and twin 40mm wastegates going on the car which no doubt will make a bit more power (not that I'm chasing anymore power) but it should have a bit better control and a slightly better torque curve as we were having to roll off the boost in the top end. -

I ordered my 8374 and it took 9.5mths to arrive......order one now! Haha! -

[Cough] Ripoff [Cough] However mine uses a different Nissan clutch master that fits better and has more room away from a large plenum like the Greddy one. -

Awesome looking build! Love the carbon weave showing through the paint! .....not a massive fan of the huge Nismo sticker on the rear wing, but each to their own. -

In about a months time I will be able to have a back-to-back comparasion between a 8374 with a 0.92 internal gated turbo on a RB30 and a 8374 with a 1.05 with twin 40mm external gates. Im changing just the rear housing on the car (other than going to a single E-Throttle). I will also have a speed sensor, I have had one from the start, but had to make a multiplier as there wasn't one available at the time and I'm not sure it is correct as it shows a max of 125,000rpm. I have now got the unit that Full-Race sells so will see what the speed will be. My car is on 98 octane pump gas, currently makes 650hp at all four wheels at full boost (20psi) at 3400rpm on a DynaPack Hub Dyno. The reason for change is the high backpressure I'm getting with the small exhaust housing, we can't squeeze anymore than 20psi out of it without it pushing the gate open and causing boost spikes. Im hoping for a more flatter torque curve and better boost control, I don't necessarily need any more power.....but no doubt it will make a bit more anyway. -

We had a standard R34 GTR on the Dyno with no mods other than cam gears,3.5" exhaust, 1000cc injectors and a Link G4+ on 95 octane fuel with a external gated 1.05 9180 and it wasn't too bad......was 18psi by 4500rpm, only took it to 500hp to preserve the engine until it is built as a 2.8 Looked laggyish.....but drove feeling responsive -
Amen

[Closed] Borg Warner Efr Series Turbos
Sub Boy32 replied to Lithium's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
When you say "it comes on at around 3700rpm", so this is not full boost? On a stroker RB you should be seeing about 20psi at that level.....On a RB30 I'm seeing 22psi by 3400rpm. -
Mine is running through my Link G4+ Being that I have removed the factory dash and replaced it with a IQ3 Digital Dash, it no longer sends the signal to the ECU to control the speed sense valve on the power steering. I'm not entirely sure what I/O my tuner has connected it to, but it works just like it used to with the factory dash.
