  1. Have you done a pressure test? If you are using the stock fuel pressure reg the pressure should still be the same at close to 3 bar. I would say it will be the E85, the factory injectors won't be rated to handle ethanol, and the internal seal would have swelled etc.
  2. I know NZEFI supply the lag time info with them when you buy them, they are happy to send overseas
  3. It can be, there are a couple of different N1 water pumps, one has a slotted mounting hole that doesn't leave much room for the sealant behind it.....it can leak there. I got the unused part of the slot welded up to be on the safe side
  4. http://www.nzefi.com/product/nissan-rb-1000ccmin-top-feed-direct-fit-fuel-injector-kit/ Direct fit, no plug change, out of the box Bosch 1000cc injector (not de-capped/high flowed smaller injector) E85 approved, and the best spray pattern I've seen on an injector even half the size.
  5. Are they the same pressure plate etc bar the flywheel being a dual mass one? ...and can you buy the parts separate, i.e the R34 flywheel? I'm looking at putting a R34 gearbox in my R32 (R33 gearbox already) and want to keep my Coppermix clutch
  6. It is a USB on one end and the ViPec/Link plug on the other end, so yeah you will need the right cable.
  7. Yeah, I would love to see a dyno sheet and a boost curve for this. It's an awesome build with some seriously cool hand made manifold and wastegate piping, I too am a little surprised to see a T70/T72 turbo mixed with the work of art parts around it, it's sorta like two steps forward and one step back when there are some much better technology turbos out there now. ......but I would love to be proven wrong
  8. Let me know if you do decide to sell it, I would be interested as I have no A/C and my factory unit is faulty. I'm in NZ but if you didn't want to send overseas I can give you an Aussie address to send it to. Cheers, Chris
  9. Just spent the morning perusing you build thread.....very nice! Did you ever fit the N1 heater controls? I'd be interested to know if the plugs are the same in the back and what it cost? Cheers
  10. .....I'm more interested in his gearbox
  11. Will be interested to see the results when it's done! Yeah a bit different to mine, smaller capacity, but V-Cam and 1.05a/r and E85......
  12. .....I haven't run it on anything but 98, so the 470kw is on 98
  13. Fair enough, I only take the car out to the track about three times a year and lunched the front diff one of the last times it went out......have since now put a Quaife ATB in it and have been out to the track with no problems other than my shit driving! Haha
  14. What if you could have full boost at 3300rpm and make another 120kw on top of that?
  15. Sounds pretty close to mine (470kw, 20psi)...much the same spec but it is running E85 where as I'm only using 98. Think I could maybe manage 500kw on E85, but after that I'm sure I would be seriously over speeding the 8374.
  16. Do you have a build thread or dyno/boost sheets? I'd be reasonably confident I would see full boost earlier than a 600whp pair of low mount twins
  17. Meh...you can keep your laggy twins
  18. Is there any graphs of this car, would be interesting to compare to mine.
  19. Probably been mentioned before.....but did you look at getting the Coppermix centre machined/modified so suit?
  20. Jebuz Fatz! You drive like a crazy man with no fear! Full credit sir
  21. Haha, yeah I know, I was just offering my veiw from what I found running one on my car.
  22. No doubt there will be others out there that could get more out of it that I have, my setup is by no means perfect.....most of it was a bit of a guess as no one had run this turbo on a 3ltr six cyl anywhere on the globe at that time. There are other 8374 1.05 powered RB's running ethanol and making bigger numbers than me......but I'm pretty sure I'm boosting earlier. Yeah, at this stage 470kw is plenty for a road car that sees the track about twice a year
  23. Yeah, I got a shaft speed sensor on it, in fairness we had to get a circuit made to convert the signal for the ECU to be able to decipher it (there wasn't one available at the time) so I can't be 100% that I'm getting the correct reading. I have recently bought the Full-Race convertor box, so when I fit that and get a run on the track or the dyno I will get some more data logs out of the ECU to be sure. At 22psi it gets to 132,000rpm (absolute max is said to be 140,000) I have the dyno sheet of the tune, but nothing with the speed sensor.....I would have to maybe do a screen shot of the data log off the Link ECU software?
