LOL noddy, was thinking of getting out that way for the next round of Morgan Park Superkarts. We get out to Glendon Station for camping a few times a year. Nice spot in Winter if you're a polar bear ... we're out there this long weekend in fact. Brass monkey weather - hope it's fine. (While on the Superkarts - they do a 1min 30 at Eastern Creek with no suspension 1 inch off the ground; Cyber-Evo did 1min 30 at Superlap 2010).

The original query concerned Xforce - Does it handle high temps and maintain it's strength and finish? Not HKS, APEXI or custom mandrel bent anything else. For the 18 year old apprentice already with 100 years experience stating the obvious, keep trying ... you'll be a president before you're 21. If I knew everything, this would be the last place I'd be to waste everyones time, even yours precious.

As for their hot rolled structural sections, they are softer and rougher than ours, so they go up one size on design. Surface imperfections from mill process on imported Chinese structures is what I have experience with. You? Let's stick to topic - you have one of these installed then?

Ordinary is an appropriate description, so too is agricultural. But to generalise could be unfair. Is the Xforce stainless exhaust system up to the task? (longevity, thickness, pressure/temperature) for turbo'd engines. Does it handle high temps and maintain it's strength and finish? I am looking at a 3.5" Xforce system using twin low mount split dumps into 3.5" risers, collectors, 100 cell metallic cat. Looking for any experiences by people (btw, pockets are full with no room for p*ssing) - how long have you had it, what HP power are you flowing? Would appreciate good and bad opinions if you have them.

Pez, well done. You followed an idea and the outcomes is a credit to you for DIY. From this, I'll make a blank for fabrication of my mods. Plan on making a front splitter for when my build hits the track (track only splitter). Using input from Nascar tips and recent 2010 Superlap, there's some excellent aero to be put into a car, not all of it has to be hi-tech. Two thumbs up for effort and styling ... perfect off-finish carbon would be hard to do first time around. Well done.

Hi there, I have some plans to mod my R34 GTR aero's. Has the standard Nismo aero kit fitted to Vspec2 Nur. Front bar F/G Nismo and Nur undertray valence mouldings Front undertray extension Front undertray splitter (not for road) - carbon Rear wheel panel mods - body work Bonnet vents (no, don't want the Z-tune front guards thanks anyway) - carbon or F/G Have personalised designs already looking to be built using all existing parts (won't post them, ideas are mine until finished). Need someone with proven quality work and experience in racing aero's would be a benefit. Would be a mix of carbon/FRP/FGlass work. S/E Qld area only ... thanks. Will discuss the designs if you're interested in doing the work.

Don't know how different the mounts are from an R34 GTR, but will soon have a full set of original Brembo rotors/calipers/pads off my R34 GTR Nur (front and rear). Fronts off already, waiting for rears to arrive. Plan is to sell them once my changeover is complete. Rotors need machining to tidy up the outer lip and refacing (would never been done after 50,000kms) - but otherwise full OEM kit excl. bolts.

Prolly ... not bad for a hacker, some turned out OK. I like the Tomei one myself - is sweet on a 32 inch screen. (I did get some good advice from a pro wearing a cams vest - might have been yourself) Some others - the RX7's looked the business, but they were both beaten by a very well locally "PREP'D" Lotus Elise ...
