  1. excellent thread... it has certainly given me a lot to think bout. hope this is a wake up call for you mines. all the best.
  2. sweet, thanks for the info.
  3. just curious.... what is that thing where the car makers badge normally goes?
  4. nice job man, it looks sweet as! just curious... is there any law that say that your engine bay has to be the same colour as the rest of the car?
  5. Have you thought about recording the conversation with them? Not sure bout the legality of doing this but I reckon it might just make em listen as well. Just go back and say you wanna have a final shot at settling things, keep a recorder in your pocket (I know a lot of people that do this when gettin pulled ova by cops) and ofcourse keep calm and let him dig his own hole. When thats all done, let him know that ACA may have a special interest in your recording. Meanwhile, I hope that MVIRA is able to help ya out. Good Luck
  6. ill be happy to facilitate the malbourne leg of the "ride-round-australia-in-a-lyne-run... my car is not a GTR but the next best thing ; ) enjoy your trip down under
  7. That is total BS man, I strongly recommend that you refer the matter to consumer affairs and let them deal with it. I guarantee you that these people will start listing and being nice once you get CA involved. Just make sure that you document all these incident... witnesses would be nice. All the best.
  8. r33 does have a fuel light in the dash, however, it seems to come on long after the needle has reached empty for some reason so perhaps thats why you havent noticed it...
  9. Im got my gtst at 21... now Im 23 and working for an oil company as an IT project manager. Unfortunately, I had to move from perth to melb for the job and quickly realised that rent + bills and going out = no money left ova. I have now decided to put all engine mods on hold and get myself a house, afta a year or so Ill be back modding again... but at the end of the day, you need to invest and have positive cashflow otherwise you will just end up in a negative debt cycle
  10. happy bday man
  11. Im with you Airzone, I need to see it to understand it and actually say that I can do it. I imagine that this would be a monthly thing (depending on interest) and I dont think that people would mind parting with say 5 or 10 bucks to get this kind of info and hands on advice... I know I wouldnt. Would be sweet to have it in Melb Mr Fanny (that sounds weird) but Im struggling to find out who from the Admins is located in Melb and can point us in the right direction. Can you guys help me on this? Thanks, Terry
  12. I really like that... its gonna be a fair bit of work to collect this kind of info and set it up, but it sounds like we have plenty of people here ready to help kick start this.
  13. sorry guys, I still havent heard from the admins... hopefully I can get an answer before tomorrow when I will be heading back to Perth for holiday.... sweeeet...
  14. Milk, Im not sure if we have any workshops in Melb that sponsor our club (sorry, still new). I will PM one of the admins and get their input on this. Will let you guys know what happens soon.
  15. dont be ashamed, reprogramming of his computer I would say took the competition out of it as opposed to having 2 fairly stock vehicles. betta luck next time.
  16. Id be glad to help out in any way possible as Im sure many others on here would... I guess we just need some direction from the admins.
  17. hey guys, im not sure if we already do this at the club but was wondering what you guys think about us having car maintenance lessons. I always see people posting up threads on how to change oil etc so though it might be a good idea to have lessons for members less knowledgable like myself on how to do such things. We could charge a small fee for those that want to attend to cover venue and associated costs with the remaining funds going to the maintenance of the club or a charity. what do you think??
  18. looks good but diffinetly needs to do somthin bout the wheels sittin so far back... yuk!
  19. I find it interestign that at the end of the day whether you like an r33 or 32 or whatever or even if you prefer a s13 that you would say that you hate other performance cars and bag them... to me, I love my R33 but as stated its just taste, at the end of the day Im a fan of all performance cars cos to me they all represent something I like. I guess what Im trying to say is, you could be a r33 owner today and an s15 owner tomorrow - the common denominator is that you love performance cars, so why say you HATE this or that? just my 2 cents.
  20. that vid is pretty sweet man :uh-huh: ... what Id give to be able to drift like that
  21. thats a sweet lookin car:uh-huh:
  22. thats the first I hear of these cars... looks good and sounds interesting... would love to know more bout it if anyone has info
