  1. Been a while since I checked in here, sorry for the late reply. I bought it off Chris and maybe 4months later the head gasket went so went to GT Garage when Nick Summers owned for an engine out rebuild, - new N1 block - Nitto rods and CP pistons - Koyo 52mm radiator - custom fabricated intake piping by Jake from Weld Logic - Haltech platinum pro ECU Few other bits and pieces and then Nick custom tuned it, makes just over 300awkw now. Could've made more but the system couldn't keep up so we set it at a safe level. It's overdue for some more work but holding off til I buy a house and can justify the spend.
  2. Looking forward to it as always Em ??
  3. Hey mate, I own her now. This how she's looking now, had a fair amount of work done since I bought her back in 2010. Engine rebuild, new coil overs and other suspension mods, rims etc.
  4. Yeah definitely get the inspection done, it will save u many, many $$$$ in the future. I got screwed over because i didnt do that when i bought my car due to the fact that the guy selling seemed like a genuine and honest person, big mistake on my part . Its almost all good now but i have had to spend a substantial amount more $$$ than i was hoping too and i havent even had the car that long. There are good cars out there just take the time to find one and u wont regret it, u will never go back to FWD Good luck.
  5. Rough price range?? Also do u have to do anything to the suspension etc to make them sit/fit properly?
  6. PORN!!! So want some of these for my GTR!!
  7. This is mine, was on my way to gf's place
  8. Would really, really love to be able to do this but wont have my car back from having a new head fitted in time for it Sounds like it will be an awesome day and would've been a great oppurtunity to meet some of the other guys on the forum. Hope it all goes well for everyone that does make and there can be a good amount raised for the poor buggers in QLD. Good Luck!
  9. Going with the N1 pump cos thats what my Nick at GT GARAGE reckoned i should go with when he did up a parts list, going to add a crank collar to it to hopefully avoid the issue that are usually associated with the oil pumps. I'm not planning on running huge power or using the car in a way that will put the pump under too much stress so fingers crossed when its all in and bolted up and i get the car back on the road it should all be sweet. I'll definitely ask Nick about the Nitto pump though and see what he thinks, always open to helpful suggestions that will benefit the car so i appreciate the heads up Cheers.
  10. Got my car in at GT GARAGE after it decided to drop all the oil into the cooling system due to what we believe is head gasket failure. Doing a rebuild with a few forged internals, new N1 oil pump, Nitto head gasket, machining the head etc etc. Plan to run a bit more boost when its all bolted back together and in the car and aim for 270-280kw atw provided the stock AFM's can handle it. Lots to look forward to
  11. Yeah was good to meet u too mate. Got a feeling u might see a bit more of me out at Shaw's, pretty keen on the idea of fitting that Haltech and playing around with that to see what i can get out of the engine before i have to upgrade anything further . Catch u round no doubt.
  12. Thanx guys for that, went and saw Nick at Shaw Performance today and was impressed with his knowledge and professional and helpful attitude so think i will probably use his services. Thanx again for the help and advice
  13. Yeah i actually had him recommended by another mechanic and gave him a call, sounds like he knows his stuff.
  14. Hey guys, i have a '92 R32 GTR that is having some intermittent running problems and was just hoping to get some feedback on who i should trust my car to and would do a proper job on it. Cheers
