  5. aight well in WA i dont think the turbo law for P platers apply, but i did hear something about the power to weight ratio.. not saying that im gonna get an engine conversion or anything like that, i might start saving for the s13, although i dont like the shape very much, a few mods here and there could make it decent, are sr20det engines common to find? s15's are pretty expensive ( for me anyway ) perhaps ill start to save for the 33 gtr / gtst, or 32 gtr wuld it be worth buying.. say a 6 grand 33 gtst, and modding it? or going for the more expensive ones? and just leaving it?

  8. oh i had a stereo, 2 amps, one pioneer 760w (i think) and response 200w, 1000w pioneer sub and response capacitor.. but it all got ripped out by dickheads down the road..
  9. mine runs really nicely, the gearbox seems smooth, and mine has powersteering, the brakes work perfectly, i dont know what youve been driving buddy, but it sounds like your bullshitting s13 silvias look like boxes with wheels, worst car ive ever laid my eyes on.

  12. haha cause its cheap! doesnt use premium, doesnt need special 22 inch rubber, doesnt need care, doesnt look conspicious, doesnt need to be watched every 5 seconds, to make sure no ones touching the precious paint, or carving there name into it, doesnt have suspension so stiff, that your ass bone turns to dust, and its quite cheap to insure, can i go on?

  17. well i mean in a straight line they should be too bad, its cornering that they have issues.. i mean i love driving, even with the stock excel, and since the exhaust was fitted i love it even more haha this is gonna sound stupid, but im gonna own a nice car before i have a house
  18. a guy from WTF auto, in WA mentioned something about a 2 litre 4 cyl engine being able to fit in the engine bay of the excel, if its possible, reckon it would be worth it? instead of the 1.5 stock?
  19. haha well you fellas did crush a little hope haha. everyone says i should save for a second, third or whatever car, and thats probably the best decision, i might buy another run about car, keep the excel garaged and mod it, ill keep the second car as a daily drive, and the excel, as a bit of a special, weekend drive. holy shit, where the 34's really 100k?! what do you guys think of that idea?
  20. cheers buddy, thats exactly the feeling i want! the paints hell sunburnt, hopefully some tafe, will do a cheap, and i hope! and okay job ill have to ring around very soon about some kits and such, i dont care how much is spent hey, i dont have any other expenses ill have a look into the turbo a bit more. thanks again!

EXACTLY! but i make 350 a week, and im 17.. i cant save money for sh|t, and its my first car the next car i plan to buy is a 33 gtst/ or a s13 silvia, and doo a bit to that, but every car ill have, from now to the future will be modified. just thought i'd get some experience with a cheap car, instead of going straight to the r33, with the "supposedly" expensive running and maintaining costs, ill eventually own mah dream car, which is the 34 gtr, but ill start at the bottom and move up i guess i just want the excel to make a sweet sound, if the already twin 3inch cannon doesnt already the power doesnt bother me atm hey, i just want the looks, and an excel, done right, i reckon can stand a chance against your skylines, silvias etc. also i want it done cause of the.. unique value.. how many excels have you seen modded?
  24. haha i dont mind hey, i just want it to be a headturner, with a bit of power, but with more focus on the looks, i mean, where are you gonna use 598kw (reference to a 220k 33gtr) of power, if its a road car?
