  1. In, thanks Bobby and Adam for putting this together. I can bring along a couple of engines that need rebuilds if that will help
  2. that's the reason, the 235 are much more common. Goes to show the price of a tyre has nothing to do with the cost of a tyre.
  3. $99 for 1cm of tyre? I'd take the 235 thanks
  4. haha good work. I also have a strict nissan only garage policy
  5. Sif an M35 could catch a C34
  6. Personally I wouldn't bother upgrading the rears, but if you are dead keen the 33/34 brembo rears have been working fine on my race car for years. Just use more or less aggressive pads if they lock up before the fronts To really bother upgrading the rear you need to have either removed a lot of weight from the front, or shifted a lot of weight rearwards. Standard weight distribution is about 2/3 front and 1/3 rear when static, and it is even more due to weight shift when you hit the brakes. As a result the rears do 9/10ths of stuff all.
  7. don't pri-ii have engines still? . Anyway...I'll just find a spot and mount the extinguisher, I think it will be easier.
  8. the mighty leaf. since the only fire risk is the battery, which can't be put out with a foam extinguisher......but I suspect AASA don't have clear regs on electric cars yet?
  9. cool, I'm in. do you still need a fire extinguisher if your car does not have an engine or fuel to catch fire?
  10. haha I was going to say "No"....I think we are both right. You can't adjust front camber with the factory setup
  11. skids were pretty minor. I'll bring some maccas trays to texi. I was surprised with how many stagea owners I spotted without stageas Can't beleive Alex didn't go for the pink wrap on his bonnet
  12. +1 that came up great, good score This story is word for word true. But to be honest, nothing will ever beat winning that navara t-shirt at the 21st anniversary GTR R32 cruise Let's face it, no-one likes them
  13. That will be the quickest for sure, bridge/gore hill/m2/lane cove tunnel/ryde rd/victoria rd/silverwater rd. But it may be expensive for tolls.
  14. There is a specific Parts For Sale Forum for topics like this, and there are rules there including an asking price needs to be posted. Please review the rules and then post in thaf section if appropriate. Thread closed.
  15. its not that....they only fit on the custom hubs build by gibson motorsport in the early 90s. They are centre lock and cannot fit on any production car
  16. Definately helicopter mate, if that's not available try an official motorcade, they make really good time.
  17. ahh that's pretty sure to be me, the stag has been sleeping outside because the ute is getting a full rebuild. mx-5 is my dirty boat loving neighbour's, not mine. Drop in for a beer sometime the shame here is those wheels are totally unusable by anyone else in the world (unless terry knocked off the trailer ).
  18. headed out there today, it was a pretty good turn out. even hit up the nissan merch stand since they sold stuff with R Kelly's name on it
  19. 600hp = 450kw at the fly = ~350kw at the wheels.....pretty normal power level as far as I'm concerned, and it certainly doesn't need anything special. I'd be more careful over 400-450atw.
  20. my 2c? anything is useable in a mild build. buy whatever is cheap. I've used 5+ types of pistons and all have been equivalent. If you want a billion horsepower it's different, if not it is the machining that matters most
  21. well the real miracle about finding one of these is that pete has personally killed more nissan actually made. On the bright side he would have left lots of bits at wreckers
  22. good luck this year, you must be stoked with what the team are doing. I understand there's some senior guys with a mile of experience in the category coming on board too. and while I'm at it, well done with the B12H victory last weekend too...great way to start the year
  23. Sorry fax is no longer available...you can still scan and pm to shell
  24. Sorry to hear that Craig, it's been a rough suburb lately. Can't see you getting much out of gladesville station, all they did for us was write notes in their invisible notebooks then head back to the donut shop
  25. Excellent project mate; I assume you are not planning to molest it?
